'Game Changer' Worldwide Pre-Release Theatrical Business Details

Hyderabad, January 9 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan teamed up with maverick director S. Shankar for the first time for a political action thriller Game Changer. Produced by Dil Raju, the movie also stars Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah in prominent roles. ## Game Changer is one of the most anticipated movies, and as expected, it has scored fantastic pre-release theatrical business in all major areas. According to the trade report, the Game Changer theatrical business in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) has been valued at 122 crore. ## The 122 crore AP-TG business includes approximately 43 crores in the Nizam area. The film will need to score around 225 crores gross collection to break even in the home states. Apart from AP/TG, Game Changer's business in Karnataka is valued at around 14 crore, followed by 15 crore in Tamil Nadu and around 2 crore in Kerala. The movie has been locked at around 42 crore in the Hindi belt. ## The overseas business is done at 25 crores, and worldwide theatrical rights are valued at around 220 crores. Game Changer will need to score around 221+ crores worldwide share or around 425+ crores gross collection in order to break even and emerge as a box office hit.## GC will have to become Ram Charan's highest-grossing solo film by more than double margin to emerge as a success. The current biggest solo grosser of the actor is Rangasthalam which grossed around 220 crores worldwide and was a big blockbuster. Hyderabad, January 1 - The wait for maverick director SS Rajamouli's next film with superstar Mahesh Babu is finally coming to an end with the movie officially getting launched on January 2 in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in the presence of a few people. ## It was recently revealed that India's global icon Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead role opposite Mahesh Babu while Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran is the lead antagonist. Box Office: 'Pushpa 2' Crosses 1500 Crore Gross Collection Worldwide

Hyderabad, December 23 - Pushpa 2 has a fantastic third weekend with close to 100 crores gross and also topped 1500 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office, becoming only the third Indian movie of all time to achieve the feat. ## At the end of the third weekend, the Allu Arjun-fronted action drama has scored approximately 1506 crores gross, including around 1267 crores gross collection at the Indian box office. Telangana CM Puts Serious Allegations On Superstar Allu Arjun In Sandhya Theater Stampede Case

Hyderabad, December 21 - Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy fired heavy shots on superstar Allu Arjun in the recent Sandhya Theater Stampede case in which a woman died while her son got severely injured. The actor has been facing legal trial in the case and even was arrested a few days ago before getting interim bail by the High Court. ## The incident occurred on December 4 when Allu Arjun went to watch the premiere of his blockbuster film Pushpa 2 - The Rule in Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. Due to the heavy rush of his fans, the stampede happened which claimed a precious life. The incident was discussed in the Assembly on Saturday (December 21). ## During his speech, CM Reventh Reddy lambasted the actor and the film fraternity for their inhuman attitude towards the victims. Putting serious allegations on Allu Arjun, the CM said that the actor was denied permission to visit the theatre, and despite that, he watched the film amid a massive crowd. ## Mr Reddy also alleged that even after the incident of the stampede happened, the actor didn't leave the theatre until the DCP came and forcibly put him in the car and even warned him of immediate arrest knowing the seriousness of the case.## "Even on the way back", Reddy said that "He (Allu Arjun) was waving his hands towards the crowd from the roof of the car". The CM questioned the inhuman side of the actor as well as other film fraternity people as none of them responded to the death of the woman in Stampede. ## The CM further said what kind of message the film fraternity was giving when they went to meet Allu Arjun one by one after he came out of jail. Box Office: 'Pushpa 2' Joins 'Baahubali 2' To Top 1000 Crore Net Collection

Mumbai, December 21 - SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster Baahubali 2 starring Prabhas, finally has a company in the 1000 crores net club as Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule joined the lonely leader after more than 7 years. ## The closest to reach Baahubali 2 previously was Yash-fronted KGF: Chapter 2 (860 crores net) and Pushpa 2 not only surpassed that but went on to join the former, taking just 16 days as the fastest film to achieve this rare box office milestone. ## Just like Baahubali 2, the contribution from the dubbed Hindi version has more than 50% in Pushpa 2's overall collection. In 16 days so far, the movie has minted approximately 630+ crores net collection in Hindi out of 1000+ crores net total. It is also the biggest Hindi grosser of all time and the first to breach the 600 crores mark. ## The original Telugu version of Pushpa 2 is nearing the 300 crores mark while the dubbed Tamil version is the third most contributor with around 53 crores net. The Malayalam and Kannada versions have scored approximately 21+ crores net so far. ## Pushpa 2 will become the biggest grosser in India in terms of net collection by today or tomorrow as BB2 has scored 1030 crores net collection. Makers Confirm When 'Pushpa 2' Will Release On OTT Platform

Hyderabad, December 20 - Director Sukumar's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has emerged as the biggest Indian blockbuster since SS Rajamouli's epic Baahubali 2 in 2017 and it continues to dominate the box office in its third week with the sensational collection all over. ## Meanwhile, over the last few days, rumours have been floating on social media about the OTT release date of the film. It was reported that Pushpa 2 might be available on Streamer in the second week of January 2025, 4 weeks after the theatrical release.## The makers, however, this time were quick to address the rumours and denied the possibility of early streaming. Box Office Blockbuster 'Lucky Baskhar' Also Emerges Success On OTT

Hyderabad, December 20 - Dulquer Salmaan's period crime drama film Lucky Bashkar has extended its big box office success into the digital platform as the movie has turned out to be a jackpot for Netflix which is the official post-theatrical streaming partner of the film in all languages. ## The Venky Atluri's directorial was made available on Netflix on November 28, which is 4 weeks after the theatrical release. In its opening weekend, the movie generated 5.1 million views on Netflix which is one of the highest for an Indian title.## The movie witnessed an upward trend in the second week and scored 6.6 million views, followed by another 3.3 million views in the third week (December 9 - 15). In the first 17 days, Lucky Bashkar scored 14.90 million views, making it the 5th most-watched Indian title of 2024 on Netflix. ## Lucky Bashkar is likely to beat Do Patti (17 million views), Laapataa Ladies (17.1 million views) and Crew (17.9 million views) to become the second most-watched title of the year. It needs to be seen if it can manage to cross Maharaja's 19.7 million views as the most-watched Indian title of 2024. ## Earlier, the film rocked at the box office and emerged as a big blockbuster. Box Office: 'Pushpa 2' Becomes The Biggest Hindi Grosser

Mumbai, December 18 - Allu Arjun's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has become the highest-grossing Hindi net grosser and the first to clear 600 crores net collection in Hindi within two weeks since its release on December 5, becoming the biggest blockbuster. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 has surpassed the lifetime collection of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's horror comedy Stree 2 (598 crores net approx.) on its 14th day to become the number 1 movie of all time in Hindi. Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is at the third palace with 582 crores net collection. ## Pushpa 2 has been on a record-breaking run since the opening day and so far, it has put up a sensational show at the box office. The movie is expected to finish its run with 750+ crores net with a possibility of going a step further to hit 800 crores, a record which will be a mountain to climb for future movies. ## Meanwhile, the mega-blockbuster movie is also nearing 1000 crores net collection in all versions. Makers Issue Statement On Prabhas-Fronted 'The Raja Saab'; Clarifies On Release Date

Hyderabad, December 18 - The makers of superstar Prabhas-fronted The Raja Saab have shared a statement on social media on the rumours regarding the film's teaser and shooting details. There have been rumours that the teaser would be released during the Christmas or New Year weekend which the makers have denied. ## The film is produced by People Media Factory which wrote on X, "#TheRajaSaab shooting is progressing rapidly with continuous day and night schedules. Nearly 80% of the shoot has been completed, and post-production work is in full swing".## "We’ve noticed various speculations circulating about the teaser release during Christmas or New Year. Prabhas' 'The Raja Saab' Release Date Postponed

Hyderabad, December 18 - Pan India superstar Prabhas will next be seen in the romantic horror comedy The Raja Saab. The movie, directed by Maruthi, was announced for a multi-lingual release on April 10, 2025, however, there is a change in the plans. ## According to the latest Telugu media reports, The Raja Saab is set to be postponed and the announcement for the same will be made soon.
