Mumbai, October 3 - The countdown has begun for Ajay Devgn-fronted Singham Again which is scheduled to hit the big screens on Diwali this year. Directed by hit-machine Rohit Shetty, it is easily one of the year's most-anticipated movies. ## With less than a month before the release, the makers are set to launch the trailer of Singham 3 in the first week of October. Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Again' Sets Wide Overseas Release

Mumbai, September 27 - One of the biggest Bollywood films of the year, director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn in the title role is set to get a wide release across international territories in November this year.## According to Variety, Phars Film (PHF) has acquired overseas rights for this cop action thriller which also stars Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles. ## Phars Film has teamed with Moviegoers Entertainment to orchestrate the film's rollout across international territories, excluding the Middle East, which PHF will handle directly. Mumbai, September 26 - Maddock Films and Jio Studios' horror comedy Stree 2 has officially become the highest-grossing Hindi movie at the domestic box office, beating superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan. ## Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the mega-blockbuster crossed Jawan (582.31 crores net) on its 6th Thursday (43rd day) to become the new box office king in Hindi. It is, in fact, now the biggest single-language grosser at the Indian box office. ## Jawan, however, remains the biggest Bollywood grosser of all time in India with 640 crores net collection in all versions. Stree is not expected to beat Jawan and is likely to finish its run of around 600 crores net collection, which is anyway a monstrous achievement to have. ## Stree 2 has been a on dream run since its debut on August 15. Saif Ali Khan will make his comeback to the franchise in Race 4 with Sidharth Malhotra joining him this time. ## In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, writer of Race 4, Shiraz Ahmed, who also penned the first three films of the franchise, shared details about the upcoming movie. Box Office: 'Tumbbad' Re-Release Seventh Day (7th Day) Collection

Mumbai, September 20 - Folk horror thriller Tumbbad re-release has had a very good first week at the domestic box office which saw it almost outgrossing the film's lifetime original run of approximately 13.50 crores net collection. ## Rahi Anil Barve's directorial remained over the 1 crore mark for the seventh day in a row, scoring approximately 1.25 crore net collection on Thursday. This took the total re-release collection of the movie to approximately 13.15 crores net in 7 days. ## Tumbbad is expected to witness a good jump on its second Friday due to National Cinema Day on which the ticket prices are kept at just rs. 99. It will cross its original run today (8th day) and then will look to continue the momentum for a week or more.## The total domestic collection (including original and re-release)of this critically hailed flick has now reached approximately 26.60 crores net (31.15 crores gross). Director Anees Bazmee Issues Clarification For His Remarks On Singham Again Clashing With His Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Mumbai, September 19 - Director Anees Bazmee is facing some heat ahead of the release of his hugely-awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan. The horror comedy is scheduled to hit the big screen on November 1st and it will clash with another biggie, Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn. ## There has been a lot of buzz around the box office clash between BB3 and Singham 3, and it seemed Bazmee was not happy with it as BB3 was the first to lock a Diwali release in its pursuit of getting a solo release. It was recently reported that the BB3 team approached director Rohit Shetty to consider postponing the release of his cop drama. ## Bazmee said in a recent interview the BB3 and Singham Again releasing at the same weekend is a business decision taken by the producers and he doesn't want to interfere in this by asking Ajay Devgn and anyone else to reconsider their decision. However, the comments made by the filmmaker didn't go well with a section of the audience and now, he has issued a clarification on the same. ## "Some media personnel are misinterpreting my statement. As a filmmaker with over three decades of experience, I focus on crafting compelling stories, not getting entangled in film release/ business dynamics", Bazmee said and added that he is excited about both movies. ## "I've seen many films succeed despite releasing on the same day.
