Mumbai, July 26 - Yash Raj Films' romantic drama Saiyaara is in the middle of an excellent second weekend after the historic first week collection at the worldwide box office. The movie continues to defy odds and is putting up insane numbers daily. ## After a historic first week, the Mohit Suri's directorial has entered its second weekend on an excellent note. The film maintained a strong grip on its second Friday with a worldwide gross of over 30 crores, including its first million-dollar day overseas — a rare feat for a debutante-led romantic drama. ## Saiyaara Tops 300 Crore Gross Worldwide In 9 Days ## By the end of its 8th day (second Friday, the film had already amassed an impressive 282 crores gross worldwide, including approximately 229 crores from India and 53 crores from overseas. Now, on its 9th day, Saiyaara has officially crossed the 300 crore milestone globally, becoming only the second Bollywood film of 2025 to do so after Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava (which stands at 808 crores gross worldwide). ## Saiyaara Eyes 100+ Crore Gross Worldwide In Second Weekend ## Saiyaara began its second weekend with a 21.50 crore gross in India on Friday and is poised to collect around 30 crores on Saturday. Early estimates for Sunday suggest a 30–35 crore gross, which would take its second weekend domestic gross to an estimated 85+ crores (70+ crores net). ## In overseas markets, the film is expected to rake in another 28–30 crores over the weekend, taking the total second weekend worldwide gross to an estimated 115 crores — an extraordinary figure. It is a one-horse race at the moment, with not much challenge at the box office from new movies in India. ## By the end of its second weekend, Saiyaara is set to hit approximately 365 crores gross worldwide. At this pace, it will likely surpass the lifetime gross of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh (377 crores) by Monday or Tuesday, becoming the highest-grossing romantic Indian film of all time (non-inflation-adjusted). ## Stay tuned...

Produced by Kaleem Productions in association with Hombale Films, is movie is based on the 4th avatar of Lord Vishnu. ## Mahavatar Narsimha Scored 2+ Crore Gross Opening Day In India ## Mahavatar Narsimha was released in 2D and 3D formats on July 25 amid low buzz and intense competition, but it surprised one and all with its first-day box office collection. The animated film grossed approximately 2-2.15 crores in all versions (including 3D charges), which is a fantastic opening. ## The Hindi version of the film did very well with approximately 1.50-1.60 crores gross (with 3D charges), followed by the Telugu version, in which the movie grossed around 40 lakh, while the rest of the versions minted 10 lakh approx. ## Strong Bookings For Mahavatar Narsimha On Day 2 ## If the day 1 collection of the film surprised everyone, get ready to be shocked by its second-day collection. The film is selling 12K tickets per hour, which is almost double that of Pawan Kalyan's biggie Hari Hara Veera Mallu, on Book My Show. Mumbai, July 26 - Yash Raj Films' next blockbuster War 2 is set to storm the box office this Independence Day weekend with huge anticipation around it. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR (Bollywood debut), and Kiara Advani in the leading roles. ## Ahead of the film's release, the studio dropped the trailer on July 25, and it has received a thunderous response across languages. In the first 24 hours, the trailer generated 55 million views on Yash Raj Films' YouTube channel across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. ## The Hindi trailer of War 2 scored 26.3 million views, making it one of the most-watched Indian film trailers of 2025 in Hindi on the first day of release. On the other hand, the dubbed Telugu version trailer has a much better response than it got with the recently released teaser. ## With 22.3 million YouTube views, the Telugu trailer of the film is the third most-watched of 2025, behind Game Changer (36.25 million) and Hari Hara Veera Mallu (47 million). It is the 8th most-watched of all time in the Telugu language. Additionally, the Tamil trailer scored 6.4 million views in 24 hours. ## The combined YouTube viewership of the War 2 trailer (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil) is 55 million is the third highest among the 2025 Indian films across languages, after Sky Force (58 million), and Game Changer (62 million). Overall, it is the 12th most-watched Indian film trailer of all time in the first full day of release. ## About The War 2 Movie ## War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Hyderabad, July 26 - The negative word of mouth appears to have made its presence felt earlier than anticipated, as Pawan Kalyan's period action adventure Hari Hara Veera Mallu plummeted on its second day, after the record-breaking opening for the superstar at the worldwide box office. ## Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna, the film opened to an impressive 67 crore worldwide gross, including paid premiere shows. However, things started getting screwed by the evening of its opening day, as poor reviews and word of mouth began influencing footfalls. This trend only intensified on Friday, leading to a heavy drop in collections across regions. ## Hari Hara Veera Mallu Dropped By +70% On Day 2 ## It is normal for South Indian films to witness a decline in collections in early days, especially when met with mixed or negative word of mouth, but the Pawan Kalyan-starrer is among the worst hit films, where the collection plummeted domestically. Despite the immense hype and strong initial turnout, the film has suffered a steep decline in collections, pointing to a serious disconnect with audiences. ## While the official numbers are yet to come, HHVM grossed less than 10 crore on its first Friday, marking a devastating 80%+ drop from its full opening day (including premieres), and about 75% from the pure day 1 figures. ## The film’s two-day domestic gross now stands at approximately 65 crore, while the worldwide total has reached around 77 crore gross. Even in the early days, a heavy drop for a poorly received South Indian film doesn't surprise much, but in the case of HHVM, it came as a shocker with huge cost involved. ## What is Next For Hari Hara Veera Mallu? ## After crashing badly on its second day, there seems to be no way forward for HHVM. It might still attract some audience over Saturday and Sunday, but beyond that, it is looking extremely difficult for the film to sustain. The Mohit Suri directorial continues its dream run with a rock-steady hold at the domestic box office, setting the stage for another big weekend. ## Starring debutante Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda, the film has shown remarkable consistency so far. Early estimates suggest a collection in the range of 17.50–18.50 crores net on its second Friday, showing a minimal drop from yesterday. With this, Saiyaara's 8-day total stands at approximately 190 crores net. ## With less competition at the Hindi box office, Saiyaara is headed for the second weekend collection in the 70 crore net (+/-) range, which would be a record for a romantic drama and one of the biggest second weekends ever. The movie is expected to have a drop of just 15–20%, which is a remarkable hold. ## Even though it wouldn't have mattered much with the kind of phenomena Saiyaara has turned into, one of the major factors in the film's sustained momentum is the lack of competition, particularly in the Hindi-speaking belt, where the film is dominating single screens and multiplexes alike. Mumbai, July 25 - Yash Raj Films its first blockbuster outside Spy Universe in many years with director Mohit Suri's romantic drama Saiyaara, featuring debutantes Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda. The film has completed its first week with a worldwide gross collection of around 250 crores. ## While Saiyaara is expected to continue to dominate the box office in the coming days, YRF is aiming to stretch this blockbuster streak with the next film in the Spy Universe, War 2. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani, the film's trailer was launched on July 25, and this suggests a potential blockbuster in hand for the studio. ## The War 2 trailer shows a refreshingly different take on the Spy Universe. Instead of fighting terrorists across the border, War 2 will focus on the internal battle between R.A.W. and its former agent, who went rogue while still keeping his love for the nation. ## The film features Jr. NTR, a special unit officer, who has been tasked to hunt down Major Kabir Dhaliwal (Hrithik). Hyderabad, July 25 - Power star Pawan Kalyan's long-awaited period action adventure Hari Hara Veera Mallu - Part 1 Sword vs Spirit finally hit the big screens on July 24 amid huge fanfare. The film delivered a solid opening day performance at the worldwide box office, living up to the pre-release hype, at least in terms of opening day numbers. ## Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna, the film benefited from one of the strongest advance bookings for a Telugu film. With pre-sales collections of around 45 crore gross worldwide, Hari Hara Veera Mallu opened with a bang, riding on the superstar's mass appeal and a long buildup of anticipation. ## Hari Hara Veera Mallu Scored Biggest Opening For Pawan Kalyan ## Backed by Mega Suriya Production, the film held paid domestic premieres on July 23, raking in an estimated 15 crore gross from them. Its first official day on July 24 added another 38–40+ crore gross at the domestic box office, bringing the total India gross to 53–55+ crore. ## However, the film's overseas performance was underwhelming, grossing an estimated 10–12 crore, including premieres. This total mostly matched its earlier pre-sale estimates of 6–7 crore (corrected in previous articles), showing minimal walk-in traction on Day 1. ## In total, Hari Hara Veera Mallu registered a worldwide opening day gross in the 65 crore range, marking the biggest ever opening for a Pawan Kalyan film, surpassing Bheemla Nayak's 57 crore debut in 2022. ## Big Opening But A Tough Road Ahead For Hari Hara Veera Mallu ## Despite the huge opening at the box office, the road ahead for HHVM appears uncertain. The film has been met with harsh reviews from critics and largely mixed to negative word of mouth from early audiences. Advance bookings for Day 2 and the remainder of the weekend are reportedly poor, with no signs of a bounce back in demand. While the film might manage decent footfalls over the weekend, sustaining beyond Sunday seems difficult. ## This situation echoes a growing pattern in the Telugu film industry, where even massive openings fail to translate into sustained runs when content fails to connect with audiences. Despite the record-breaking opening, the box office success of HHVM is far from guaranteed.
