Mumbai, February 28 - The teaser of superstar Salman Khan-fronted action drama Sikandar has taken the internet by storm with huge viewership across social media platforms. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the teaser was launched on February 27 ahead of the film's Eid release.## According to the makers, the teaser of Sikandar has generated 65+ million views across social media platforms in the first 24 hours. On YouTube, it has scored 28+ million views as one of the most-watched Bollywood teasers in the first full day of release. ## The response to the teaser has been mixed to positive, as has been the case with Salman Khan films. The action-packed promo, however, has generated the much-needed hype for the film which is expected to be a big starter at the box office upon its release on Eid 2025, likely on March 30. ## Sikandar marks Salman Khan's maiden collaboration with director Murugadoss and it has been one of the keenly-anticipated collabs. Chennai, February 28 - The Tamil film industry has its first Blockbuster in the form of a coming-of-age comedy-drama Dragon. The film is headlined by the rising Tamil star Pradeep Ranganathan who has also written the script with Ashwath Marimuthu. ## Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, Dragon has completed its first week, grossing approximately 77.50 crores at the worldwide box office. This already makes it the second highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2025, behind only Ajith Kumar's Vidaamuyarchi (136 crores gross). ## Released on February 21, Dragon opened to super positive reviews and reception from the audience which led to the biggest opening for the actor with double-digit numbers worldwide. The movie showed impressive growth over the weekend and remained rock solid during the weekdays to put up huge box office numbers. ## In India, the film has grossed approximately 58 crores, including over 39.50 crores in Tamil Nadu alone. The movie has also emerged as a success in Telugu states with over 10.75 crores gross collection. Overseas, Dragon has minted approximately 19.50 crores for a worldwide cume total of 77.50 crores. ## Dragon is certain to enter the 100 crores gross club worldwide in the second weekend and may go on to top Vidaamuyarchi to become the biggest Tamil grosser of the year to date. Hyderabad, February 27 - Natural star Nani has been in great form at the box office for the last couple of years and in the hope of extending that winning streak, he reunited with his Dasara director Srikanth Odela for an action thriller film The Paradise. ## The Paradise has been shaping up as one of the most anticipated Telugu movies of the year and it will feature Nani in a completely new avatar. Meanwhile, the makers will take the audience into the world of The Paradise with the first look glimpse named Raw Statement which will be released on March 3rd. ## Ahead of the first look glimpse, it has been revealed that The Paradise will also be dubbed in the Spanish language, making it probably the first Telugu movie to have simultaneous release in this language. Mumbai, February 27 - It's been more than a year since Farhan Akhtar announced Don 3 with Ranveer Singh in the lead role, replacing superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The movie, however, has faced challenges which led to rumours of its getting shelved. ## Ranveer Singh hasn't been in the best of form at the box office and there is negativity around his casting for the role of Don which delays the production. Over the past few months, there have been rumours that Don 3 has been shelved, but director Akhtar has an exciting update for the fans. ## During a recent interview with India Today, Farhan Akhtar put rumours to rest and confirmed that the movie is on and starting shooting this year itself. Earlier, the action drama was supposed to start rolling in 2024 but due to other commitments of Farhan and Ranveer, the movie couldn't start back then.## Earlier last year, Akhtar Excel Entertainment issued a statement stating that the makers and Ranveer Singh are on the same page and that the timelines of Don 3 remain unchanged, denying the postponement rumours.
