Thalapathy Vijay's 'The Greatest of All Time' Final Worldwide Box Office Collection

Chennai, October 4 - As Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up to start his 69th film, his action thriller The Greatest of All Time has finished its box office run. The movie is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment. ## The GOAT was released on September 5, on Thursday and scored the second biggest opening ever for a Tamil title at the worldwide box office with 100 crores gross collection. It is also the third-biggest opening for an Indian title of 2024 after Kalki 2898 AD and Devara. ## The movie received a mixed reception from critics and audiences and despite that, Thalapathy Vijay pulled off a fantastic first weekend with approximately 281 crores gross worldwide. It was, however, a different story when it came to the different parts of the country as far as the box office was concerned. ## The GOAT, after the not-so-encouraging reception, didn't get the desired result in Telugu states and Kerala where Vijay's popularity was soaring. The actor's last film, Leo did wonders in AP/TG and Kerala with over 100 crores gross but this, things weren't the same as The GOAT minted only 27 crores gross approx. in those states. ## In Karnataka and the Hindi belt, The GOAT did reasonably well but it was once again the home state, Tamil Nadu where the movie was just unstoppable and turned out to be the biggest grosser ever there with over 217 crores gross. Chennai, October 1 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time has set its streaming date after nearing the theatrical run. The movie has been a box office success as one of the highest-grossing Tamil films with approximately 450 crores gross collection. ## Like most Tamil films, The GOAT has a 4-week theatrical window, which has kept them without multiplex release in Hindi versions. As per the latest update, the movie will start streaming on Netflix from October 3 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada, languages.## The GOAT is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment. Chennai, September 29 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time has slowed down at the box office, but not before emerging as a success and creating an all-time record in the home state, Tamil Nadu.## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT has become the highest-grossing movie in Tamil Nadu, beating Thalapathy Vijay's Leo which grossed approximately 215+ crores in the state. It has crossed Leo's collection on its 25th day (4th Sunday). ## On its 4th Thursday (22nd day), The GOAT outgrossed Ponniyin Selvan - Part 1's 213 crores gross collection in the state. Chennai, September 17 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time has topped 400 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Tamil movie of 2024 and the 6th overall to achieve the feat. ## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT surpassed the box office milestone on its 12th day after scoring another approximately 10 crores gross on its 2nd Monday which took its total worldwide cume to around 407 crores. It is the second highest-grossing film of Vijay after Leo (606 crores gross).## The GOAT has grossed approximately 258 crores at the domestic box office, including approx. 185 crores gross collection in Tamil Nadu. Chennai, September 13 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time had an excellent extended first week at the worldwide box office with approximately 340 crores gross collection. This includes 209 crores in India and 131 crores overseas. ## The GOAT performed opposite in the home state, Tamil Nadu and other domestic areas. In TN, the movie minted approximately 143.50 crores gross while the rest of the domestic market contributed approximately 65.70 crores, including 24.75 crores in Karnataka where the movie performed second best after TN. ## At the overseas box office, the Venkat Prabhu's directorial blockbuster was excellent throughout the first week and earned approximately 131 crores, for a worldwide cume of 340 crores gross in 8 days. Director Venkat Prabhu's Weird Excuse For Box Office Failure of Thalapathy Vijay's 'The GOAT' In Hindi and Telugu

Chennai, September 9 - One of the biggest Tamil films of the year, Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time had a fantastic first-weekend collection in the home state, Tamil Nadu and overseas box office, however, the movie is not performing in other parts of the country. ## Other than Tamil Nadu, The GOAT has heavily underperformed in other states of India, especially in Telugu and Hindi states where it has grossed just around 23 crores of gross collection. The performance of the movie in Telugu states is shockingly poor as Thalapathy Vijay's previous few films did well there. ## While the audience outside Tamil Nadu is not loving the movie, director Venkat Prabhu has made a weird excuse for the film's failure in Telugu and Hindi. This is by far the biggest opening weekend for a Tamil title of 2024 and one of the biggest of all time. ## The Venkat Prabhu's directorial is showing a fantastic hold everywhere, especially in the home state, Tamil Nadu, and the overseas territories. Chennai, September 8 - Thalapthy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time had a sensational third at the worldwide box office. The movie, despite the mixed reviews, is being massively driven by the stardom of Vijay at the box office. ## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT scored approximately 66 crores gross globally, including 39 crores in India on its third day/first Saturday.
