Chennai, August 12 - Director Lokesh Kangaraj, who is fresh from the mega-blockbuster Vikram, is currently working on the pre-production work of Thalapathy 67, which is touted to be the biggest film of his career. The Thalapathy Vijay-starrer is gearing up to start filming by the end of this year. ## Meanwhile, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized but the names of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sanjay Dutt, and Trisha Krishnan have surfaced online regarding joining the cast. Now, according to Only Kollywood, the makers are definitely in talks with Mayalayam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran to play a villain in the movie. ## According to the reports, Sukumaran liked the script and is speaking to the team for further developments to come on board the movie officially. Hyderabad, July 8 - One of the top Telugu film producers Dil Raju currently has two of the biggest Indian films under his production. The Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Tami-Telugu action drama film, Varisu/Vaarasudu and Ram Charan-fronted "RC15", carrying a lot of buzz and are scheduled to hit screens in 2023. ## Both the movies, which are different completely different from each other, are expected to take huge openings at the domestic and well as overseas box office. "RC15" is a Pan India movie and will also be released in Hindi languages. Meanwhile, the makers are betting big on both the films and asking for huge prices for overseas rights for both.## According to Telugu media, the asking price for overseas rights of both the films by makers is around 65 crores. It is said that the buyers are showing keen interest to grab those movies despite such high prices and multiple buyers are reportedly in the race to get the rights.## There is no doubt that both "Varisu" and "RC15" are huge films that have the potential to do wonders at the box office, so a huge overseas asking price for them is not surprising at all. Chennai, June 18 - Lokesh Kanagaraj has become a talk of the town and is one of the sought-after directors after the mega-blockbuster success of "Vikram", starring Kamal Haasan. The maverick filmmaker is now gearing up for his next film which will reunite him with Thalapathy Vijay after the blockbuster "Master". ## The movie, tentatively titled "Thalapathy 67" is expected to go on floors by the end of this year and it will be a gangster drama film as confirmed by Lokesh himself in a recent media conversation. He will reportedly be sporting a salt and pepper look, and the character presentation will be on the lines of Rajinikanth's classic blockbuster "Baasha" (1995). ## Lokesh is creating his own cinematic universe and "Vikram" was part of it.
