American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift on Saturday (June 13) calls out for the unity of all Tennesseans by taking down statues of the historical figures who did bad things through systemic oppression of hatred and violence on the black community. ## The singer took to Twitter and wrote a thread of Tweets, "As a Tennessean, it makes me sick that there are monuments standing in our state that celebrate racist historical figures who did evil things. Edward Carmack and Nathan Bedford Forrest were DESPICABLE figures in our state history and should be treated as such".## "Taking down statues isn’t going to fix centuries of systemic oppression, violence and hatred that black people have had to endure but it might bring us one small step closer to making ALL Tennesseans and visitors to our state feel safe - not just the white ones," she wrote in another tweet.## She tweeted another saying that it is hurtful to continue fighting for those monuments that have a racist history. "I’m asking the Capitol Commission and the Tennessee Historical Commission to please consider the implications of how hurtful it would be to continue fighting for these monuments".## "When you fight to honor racists, you show black Tennesseans and all of their allies where you stand, and you continue this cycle of hurt. Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar came in support of former West Indies cricket team captain Daren Sammy over the racial remark during his Indian Premier League instinct with Sunrisers Hyderabad. Sammy alleged that when he was playing with SRH in the IPL, some of his teammates used to call him 'Kaalu'. At that time, he didn't know what that word meant. ## He recently got to know that word 'Kaalu' is used for the racial remarks and for that to make things clear, he said that he will send messages to his SRH teammates who used to call him Kalu, for apologizing to him. Gal Gadot starring Wonder Woman 1984 release date has again been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Directed bt Patty Jenkins, WW84 will now release in theaters on October 2, 2020, if the COVID-19 permits. ## Wonder Woman 1984 is the sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman with Gal Gadot in the lead role and the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). ## The official Twitter handle of Wonder Woman announced the new release date of the American Superhero film.## Wonder Woman 1984 is coming to your favorite theater this fall. Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan unveils the first look of his digital debut web-series Breathe: Into The Shadows that is going to stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 10. Abhishek Bachchan will play the lead role in the second season of Amazon Prime Video's original 2018 series Breathe. ## The actor took to Twitter to make the announcement of the first look and the starting date of the series. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan may soon seem to guide people through his voice on Google Maps. Big B has been approached by the searching giant for giving his voice for navigation on Google Maps and it said to have offered a huge amount to bring Big B on board. ## According to the Mid-Day report, Big B has been in talks with Google for providing his voice to Google Maps. Once he accepts the offer, the 77-year-old actor will record his voice from him. ## Big B has offered his voice in many films and documentaries in the past, including the Oscar-winning documentary "March of the Penguins" back in 2005. ## In 2018, Google partnered with the production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) to incorporate dialogues of the actor Aamir Khan's character Firangi from the movie Thugs Of Hindostan into Google Maps.
