Hyderabad, November 20 - Pan India superstar Prabhas is all set to make a grand return to the big screen with romantic horror comedy The Raja Saab, and the buzz around the film's release is already heating up, not just in India but also in North America. With the makers pushing forward confidently and the overseas distributors, The Raja Saab is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Indian releases to begin the new year.
The North American territory has always been a stronghold for Prabhas, especially since Baahubali, and this time too, the response from distributors reflects massive confidence. The film has reportedly secured a remarkable $10 million distribution deal, signalling strong pre-release faith in its global appeal. Pratyangira Cinemas, known for handling major South Indian ventures, has taken charge once again, ensuring a wide and aggressive release across the US and Canada.

Adding to the excitement, the makers have put all speculations to rest by confirming the worldwide release date as January 9, 2026, aligning with the festive Sankranti window. The biggest development, however, comes from the North American box office front. As per updates, bookings for The Raja Saab will open on December 4, 2025. Reports hint at massive demand for premiere shows, with expectations of a strong surge beginning January 8, when the film's premiere takes place. Given Prabhas' strong overseas traction and the genre shift that promises a refreshing on-screen experience, The Raja Saab is expected to score one of the biggest premieres for an Indian film.

Directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory, The Raja Saab stars Prabhas in dual roles alongside Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam, and Samuthirakani. The plot revolves around a young man, who sets his eyes on his ancestral property to ease him out of a cash crunch.
