Salman Khan's Battle of Galwan To Charge Into Theatres In June 2026?

Mumbai, November 4: Bollywood megastar Salman Khan has been shooting for war drama, Battle of Galwan, inspired by true events. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie stars Khan in a never-before-seen avatar alongside Chitrangda Singh, who plays the female lead. According to the reports, the shoot of BOG, which kicked off in September, will be wrapped by December 2025. The team has already filmed a major chunk of the film, including key challenging and action sequences. Meanwhile, as the shoot is nearing its completion, the makers are looking to lock the release date. Recently, it was reported that BOG will either be released in January or June 2026. However, with the shoot still going on, it won't be ready for early release. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film is seriously being considered for a June 2026 release, while also looking to see if there's an ideal release date in the months of July and August next year. With its blend of intense emotion, powerful performances, and large-scale battle sequences, Battle of Galwan is shaping up to be a landmark film in the patriotic action genre.
