Mumbai, May 18 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has wrapped up shooting for director Priyadarshan's horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films and Wide Angle Creations. ## Akshay shared a video clip which features him and actress Wamiqa Gabbi while filming for a song and announced the wrap on the film. ## "And that's a wrap on #BhoothBangla! Maddock Films' 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' Gets A New Theatrical Release Date

Mumbai, May 14 - In another fresh turn of events, Maddock Films' romantic comedy drama Bhool Chuk Maaf is getting back to the theatrical release. The movie is directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films in association with Amazon MGM Studios.## Over the last week, the film has been in the news for a couple of reasons. On May 8, the makers announced the Bhool Chuk Maaf's theatrical release, which was May 10, was called off amid the India and Pakistan border tensions and was rescheduled to a direct digital release on Prime Video on May 16. ## However, the decision to send the movie directly on digital invited the legal battle as PVR-Inox sued Maddock, seeking 60 crore in damages for breach of contract and requesting a stay on the film's digital release. Later, the Bombay High Court granted major relief to the theatre chain and stopped the OTT release of the movie. ## Now, according to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the film is back on track for a theatrical release. It is said that the movie will now hit the big screens on May 23. The report further states that while Bollywood films are mandatory to have an 8-week theatrical window, Bhool Chuk Maaf might debut on Prime Video in just two weeks, on June 6, 2025. ## Meanwhile, Maddock Films doesn't have to pay any amount to PVRInox, as the latter has withdrawn the demands of Rs 60 crore from the former. PVR-Inox Sues Maddock Films For Cancelling Theatrical Release of 'Bhool Chuk Maaf'

Mumbai, May 10 - National multiplex theatre chain, PVRINOX, has reportedly sued producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films for cancelling the theatrical release date of its romantic comedy drama Bhool Chuk Maaf at the last minute. ## A day before the film's release on May 9, Maddock Films and Amazon Prime issued a statement stating that the theatrical release of Bhool Chuk Maaf was called off aftermath of the ongoing border conflict between India and Pakistan. The studio announced that the movie would now be released directly on Prime Video on May 9. ## According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, PVR Inox has decided to take legal action against the production house for damages of Rs. 60 crores for non-playability of the movie. While Maddock stated the conflict as the reason behind the decision, the theatre alleged that the decision was taken due to poor advance booking. ## "PVR has submitted their case in the Bombay High Court. The matter became serious as all the contracts were signed, and then suddenly Maddock backed off. Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John' Censor Certificate And Official Theatrical Runtime Revealed

Mumbai, December 16 - The next big Bollywood release is Varun Dhawan-fronted action thriller Baby John which is scheduled to hit the big screens on December 25, on the occasion of Christmas. Directed by Kalees, the film carries a decent buzz and should take a good start at the box office. ## Meanwhile, ahead of the film's release, the makers have completed censorship formatlies. It is learned that Baby John has been certified with 'U/A' for 16+ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 44 minutes (164 minutes). ## The movie is certified for people above 16 years of age due to some violent scenes. It is the second age-restricted movie of Varun Dhawan after Badlapur which was rated A by CBFC.
