Producer Firoz Nadiadwala Opens Up On Welcome 3
Mumbai, December 17 - Director Anees Bazmee's "Welcome" (2007), fronted by Akshay Kumar remains one of the most loved comedy films of all time. Its sequel, "Welcome Back", was released in 2015 and also worked in cinemas though it couldn't recreate the magic of its predecessor.## Over the past few years, the talks regarding "Welcome 3" has been on the rise, and producer Nadiadwala himself confirmed the development now, in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker revealed that it will be made on a huge scale. ## Firoz Nadiadwala revealed that the title of the movie would most likely be "Welcome To The Jungle". He said that the movie will be based on a military action backdrop and will retain the humor, wit, and entertainment that is associated with this franchise. ## "We'll make use of the 'huey' helicopters and for the first time in an Indian film, aircraft carriers will be used in action scenes. It’ll be made on a scale that has never been seen before in Indian cinema in terms of production value, grandeur, etc", said the filmmaker.## It is not yet confirmed whether Akshay Kumar or other casts will reprise their roles in "Welcome 3" but Nadiadwala confirmed that top stars will feature in the movie. "All the main characters will indulge in action, including the actresses", he assured. ## The movie is still in the scripting stage and the makers plan to take it on floors in 2023. ## Stay tuned...
