Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' To Become First Film To Take Double Digit Opening In Each of The South Indian States
Chennai, October 18 - One of the most-anticipated Tamil movies of the year, Thalapathy Vijay's Leo is just a sleep away from hitting big screens in India. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Leo's" first show is as early as 4 AM in Kerala on October 19 and the fans are getting excited about the same. ## The film has seen the record-breaking response in the advance booking which has become the highest ever for any Tamil movie for the opening day as well as the opening weekend. With just advance booking, "Leo" has been confirmed to become the first ever Tamil movie to take the opening of 100+ crores at the worldwide box office. ## "Leo", apart from becoming the first Tamil movie to take 100 crores or more opening globally, is also on track to create a rare of the rarest box office records in India. In the history of Indian cinema, no film has taken a double-digit opening in each of the 4 traditional South Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana (combined), and Kerala. ## As per the advance booking trend, "Leo" will become the first movie ever to score a double-digit opening in each of the aforementioned states. In the home state, Tamil Nadu, the movie is tracking to earn 30+ crores gross, followed by 15+ crores in AP/TG, 14+ crores in Karnataka, and 12+ crores in Kerala.
