Keith is wonderful as a director and very gentle with his actors and crew. Hussain, of course, is a great friend, and it was a ball working with him. Kriti Sanon as Sita and Sunny Singh as Laxman in Om Raut's Magnum Opus, Adipurush

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior director, Om Raut is working on his next magnum opus, Adipurush - an adaptation of the epic Ramayana. The filmmaker has reportedly finished the scripting of this big-scale mythological and now, working on finalizing the cast. ## While Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan had already been announced to play Ram and Lankesh respectively, the search for other important characters is also looking on the finishing line. Now, the makers have finalized Kriti Sanon to play the role of Sita while Sunny Singh to portray Laxman in Adipurush, as reported earlier. ## Sunny Singh who was last seen in Navjot Gulati's Jai Mummy Di last year has signed the film and started shooting. The actor is elated to have bagged such a massive project and is excited to share screen space with the superstar Prabhas as his aide and younger brother. ## For the role of Sita, earlier the names like Keerthy Suresh, Anushka Sharma, and Deepika Padukone had cropped up, but Kriti Sanon is brought on board to play Prabhu Ram's wife's role in this most awaited film. ## "After considering several top names, from both the Hindi and Telugu industries, the makers have decided on Kriti. In a major relief for actress Kangana Ranaut, the Bombay high court on Friday set aside the demolition order passed on September 9 by the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and held that the demolition action "was actuated by mala fides".## It held that the constructions done by her in her Bandra bungalow in Pali Hill, Bandra was "pre-existing" and not ongoing and also held that she is entitled to damages but appointed a valuer to help quantify it.## Soon after judgment came in favor of her, Kangana Ranaut shared a video on social media thanking the judicial system. She also thanked the people who supported her regarding this matter. "When individual stands against the government and wins, it's not the victory of the individual but it's the victory of the democracy. She said she had completed renovations earlier and alleged "abuse of power" and "mala fide action" by the Shiv Sena ruled BMC.## The case was being heard by the division bench of Justices SJ Kathawalla and RI Chagla, who said that the actress is allowed to make the bungalow habitable. However, it also said that the extent of the demolished position requires planning permission from the BMC.## The Court also asked to appoint a valuer to determine the compensation payable to the actress for the demolition of her property, which is to be submitted before the court in March 2021.## "We do not accept allegations made by the petitioner in view of the alleged atmosphere in the state of the film industry. The petitioner is suggested to maintain restrain on public platforms. Irresponsible statements made by the citizens are best ignored", the bench stated.## "Whatever be her statements, no action can lie except within four corners of the law. The manner in which action was carried out leaves hardly any doubt that it was against the law and sinister. Coolie No 1 To Simultaneously Release In Theaters and Stream on Amazon Prime Video This December?

Recently, American superhero and most awaited movie, Wonder Women 1984 took an unpreceded decision by announcing that the Gal Gadot starrer will simultaneously release in theaters and stream on HBO Max from December 25. Now, it looks like the upcoming Bollywood biggie, Coolie No. 1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan wants to follow the pattern. As per the latest development, makers are negotiating with Amazon Prime Video for a simultaneous theatrical and OTT release on Christmas (December 25) this year. If this happens, then it will be a game-changing moment for the Bollywood film industry which is already skipping a theatrical release for most of the films due to the covid-19 pandemic. Coolie No 1 is a remake of the 1995 comedy film of the same name which starred Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in the lead role. Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari Director Abhishek Sharma Urges Makers To Release Films in Theatres

Filmmaker Abhishek Sharma, whose directorial, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari debuted in theaters on Diwali and became the first new movie release post the reopening of cinemas, has urged his fellow colleagues in the industry to release their movies in theaters to boost up the business of the exhibition industry. ## Abhishek Sharma, on taking the first move to release his film, said, "I am a very small artiste. I don't consider myself a flagbearer, but then there is a saying that who will bell the cat", stating that it's not like a pre-covid era where movies used to recover its budget within a week. Now, things have changed as might take a longer time to make a profit. ## "We are monitoring our revenues week by week, but the good thing is that people are coming to theatres to watch the film. People are coming to theatres because they have realized that things are getting normal and theatre administration are taking safety precautions while screening the film", he claimed.## Recently, Aamir Khan thronged to cinemas to watch Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. He really liked the movie and urged people to watch it. Abhishek Sharma expressed his gratitude towards Aamir as he thinks that he was not here only to watch the movie but his action has supported the exhibition industry, which is really important at this moment. ## "I would like to urge my fellow colleagues in the film industry to release their respective films in theatres so that theatres get the content to run their business", Sharma added. ## Meanwhile, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari has had a slow start at the box office.
