Shraddha Kapoor Gets A Huge Paycheque For Her Next Film With Ekta Kapoor

Mumbai, May 3 - Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor is in red-hot demand after scoring one of the biggest Indian blockbusters in Stree 2 last year. The actress has been flooded with offers by many filmmakers, and reportedly, she has signed on for a female-led film with producer Ekta Kapoor. ## The film in question is said to be a high-concept thriller, to be directed by the director of Tumbbad fame, Rahi Anil Barve. According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, Shraddha has received Rs. 17 crore remuneration for her next film with Ekta. ## Apart from the upfront fees, the actress has also got a profit-sharing clause added in her agreement and will be getting a certain percentage of share in the profits post the film's release. Mumbai, April 17 - Sunny Deol's Jaat is getting a sequel with both the actor and director Gopichand Mallineni returning for their respective jobs. Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory will jointly produce it. ## Jaat is currently playing in theatres in its first week and is doing good office. So far, the movie has scored over 70 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office and is heading towards the 100 crores mark. It is Sunny Deol's first release since the mega blockbuster Gadar 2 in 2023. ## The action drama is the first time that Sunny Deol has teamed up with director Gopichand Mallineni, who has made his Bollywood debut with this film. Randeep Hooda plays the antagonist role while Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, and Vineet Kumar Singh feature in key roles.## Mythri Movie Makers took to social media to confirm Jaat 2. Mumbai, April 17 - The sequel to Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor's cult comedy No Entry (2005) has been in development for a long time with a new cast featuring Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles. Anees Bazmee has written the script and will return to direct it. ## According to the latest reports, the makers have locked Tamannaah Bhatia to play one of the female lead roles. The actress has reportedly signed the project and is excited to explore the comedy genre. It is said that she will be seen in a role similar to Bipasha Basu's character from the original movie.## Apart from Tamannah, the makers are in talks with Aditi Rao Hydari about playing another female lead. While her casting hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, reports suggest that if finalised, the actress will bring a unique dynamic to the ensemble. Mumbai, April 16 - Sunny Deol-fronted action drama Jaat has another decent hold on its first Wednesday as early estimates suggest collection in the range of 3.75-4.25 crores net, which is a drop of around 30% from Tuesday. ## The total collection of the film is around 57.50 crores net in 7 days, as the first 8-day extended week is heading for 60-61 crores, which is a good collection.
