Ajay Devgn And Ayushmann Khurrana To Come Together For Neeraj Pandey's Thriller Film

Mumbai, September 27 - Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey had announced his ambitious film Chanakya with Ajay Devgn in 2018. However, there hasn't been any development since then and the latest reports suggest the movie has been put on hold indefinitely.## While Chanakya is not happening anytime soon, the duo is teaming up for a different project and this is going to be their first film together. According to the reports, Ajay and Neeraj are joining hands for an edge-of-the-seat thriller. The movie is believed to be a two-hero film and reports say, the makers are in talks with Ayushmann for the second lead.## It is said that Ayushmann Khurrana liked the script and gave his verbal nod to come on board the movie that will be produced by Ajay Devgn and Neeraj Pandey. It will be the first time when Ajay and Ayushmann will share screen space together. Anupam Kher has also been roped in to play a pivotal role. ## The shoot of this yet untitled film will reportedly be started in November this year in Bhopal after Ajay Devgn completes his directorial "Bholaa" which also features him in the title role. The upcoming film will mark a directorial comeback for Pandey in films after nearly 4 years. His last directorial film was "Aiyaary" in 2018.## Ajay Devgn will next be seen in Indra Kumar's comedy-drama "Thank God", which is scheduled to release on Diwali this year. He also has "Drishyam 2", scheduled for November 18 release. Apart from films releasing this year, Ajay Devgn has Amit Sharma's highly anticipated sports drama, "Maidaan", and "Bholaa", which will be released in the first half of next year and then he will start Rohit Shetty's "Singham 3". ## On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana is currently shooting for "Dream Girl 2" while his "Doctor G" is gearing up for October 14, 2022, release. Mumbai, September 27 - Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan's highly-awaited Vikram Vedha, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, is gearing up for its wide release on September 30. After Vikram Vedha, Hrithik will start Siddharth Anand's Fighter while he also has Krrish 4 in the pipeline. ## In other news, it has been speculated that the WAR actor will be headlining Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part 2: Dev along with director Nitesh Tiwari's magnum opus Ramayana. Hrithik has been approached for Ramayana, as per the recent confirmed media reports, and now, he has dropped a major hint regarding the same. ## During the Vikram Vedha press conference held in Mumbai recently, Hrithik was asked about what's next on the work front for him and if he is a part of Brahmastra 2 and Ramayan, Hrithik said, "After Vikram Vedha, I will resume Fighter and then there is potential for the other films you mentioned". ## He clearly hinted that he might take up both the movies. Sanjay Leela Bhansali To Bring Both Ranveer Singh And Ranbir Kapoor For 'Baiju Bawra'?

Mumbai, September 27 - Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is putting efforts to bring two highly talented Bollywood stars for his next musical drama Baiju Bawra. ## The maverick filmmaker scored Bollywood's first hit of 2022 in the form of Gangubai Kathiawadi with lady superstar Alia Bhatt, and now, he is working on "Baiju Bawra". The filmmaker has already reportedly roped Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and according to peepingmoon.com, he is keen on bringing Ranbir Kapoor to play the parallel lead. ## "Baiju Bawra" is touted to be a revenge story of a maverick maestro, named Baiju, who challenges the famous maestro Tansen in Mughal Emperor Akbar's court to a musical duel in order to avenge his father's death. While Ranveer is locked, the report says that Bhansali has started talks with Ranbir to play the parallel lead. ## While Ranbir hasn't given his nod for the movie, SLB is hopeful of his casting. It's not yet clear who has been offered which role, but if they come together, "Baiju Bawra" will certainly become the talk of the town. Superstar Aamir Khan Finalizes His Next Film

Mumbai, September 27 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan returned to the big screen after nearly 4 years with Laal Singh Chaddha, which was a remake of the Hollywood classic "Forrest Gump". But LSC also met with the same fate as his last film Thugs of Hindostan at the box office.## It was reported that Aamir will next take up director RS Prasann's film which is a remake of the Spanish film, Campeones. But, the disastrous result of LSC reportedly forced Aamir to ask to pause pre-production work on the film for the time being. However, the latest reports suggest positive development regarding Prasann's sports-comedy-drama film. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, Aamir Khan has made up his mind to do the Hindi adaptation of "Campeones" as his next film and the shoot for the same will start in January 2023. Box Office: Brahmastra Storms Past 400 Crores Worldwide

Mumbai, September 26 - The Astras continue to light up the Bollywood box office!## Director Ayan Mukerji's fantasy action adventure Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has crossed the 400 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Bollywood movie since Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War to achieve the milestone. ## The Ranbir Kapoor-fronted film reached the landmark box office figure on its 17th day, after scoring over 6 crores on its 3rd Sunday. With this, the movie has also crossed 250 crores net in India and again becomes the highest-grossing Bollywood movie domestically, outscoring The Kashmir Files. ## The current box office figures of the film stand at Rs. 253 crores net, and approx. Rs. 402 crores worldwide gross.## Brahmastra is the 15th Bollywood movie of all time and is the second for Ranbir Kapoor after "Sanju" and the first for Alia Bhatt to reach 400 crores gross worldwide. Overall, Brahmastra is the 22nd Indian movie to achieve this milestone. Brahmastra Third Sunday Early Estimate

Mumbai, September 25 - Brahmastra is heading towards a very good third Sunday as the early estimates suggest around 6.30 crores collections. There is a good jump compared to yesterday which is a positive sign for the film which also means the film will hold slightly better than expected on the upcoming Monday.## The third Sunday collections will take the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 253cr net box office mark in all languages. The film has also become the highest-grossing film of the year surpassing The Kashmir Files. Brahmastra has also become the second Hindi film post the pandemic to cross the 250cr net mark.## There are some experiments are being done with the ticket rates which will help the film to get some extra footfalls over the next week. Brahmastra which was a huge success till the last weekend has become a clean hit film now and post the pandemic the hits have become a rarity for the industry. After 'Brahmastra', Ticket Prices For 'Chup', And 'Avatar' Reduce To Rs. 100

Mumbai, September 25 - The makers of psychological crime thriller Chup have reduced the ticket prices of the film from Monday (September 26) along with James Cameron's Avatar re-release and R. Madhavan's Dhokha: Round D Corner. ## The aforementioned films will be available to purchase for Rs. 100-110 in most theaters. The makers haven't made the official announcement regarding reducing ticket prices of the film but it seems, the decision came after Brahmastra Part One: Shiva makers confirmed that the film can be watched in just Rs. 100+GST from Monday to Thursday. ## Reducing ticket prices could largely benefit "Chup", "Avatar", and "Brahmastra" as these films have found acceptance among the audience. It has been a long cry within the film industry that movie ticket prices should be kept low so that large audiences can afford them, and the latest development suggests the makers are finally looking for course correction. ## Director R. Balki's "Chup" has scored well in the first two days and earned 5.13 crores net. The opening day witnessed higher footfalls than the second day due to the National Cinema Day, on which ticket prices were made available for just Rs. 75. The reviews and word of mouth are positive for this film. ## On the other hand, the "Avatar" re-release has also scored well in the first two days with approx. 4.50 crores net. Brahmastra Makers Slashed Ticket Prices After Mega National Cinema Day Success

Mumbai, September 25 - Director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva got great benefit at the box office of India's first ever National Cinema Day on September 23. The ticket prices were kept as low as Rs. 75 on NCD, and as a result, the movie recorded occupancy of over 85% throughout the day in cinemas. ## Thanks to the Housefull boards all across the country, Brahmastra witnessed a jump of approx. 250% to score the biggest third Friday of all time in the Hindi language at the box office. Now, the makers are looking to attract more audiences in the coming days as they have slashed prices. ## The makers announced through social media that tickets will be available at Rs. 100+GST from Monday to Thursday during Navaratri. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' Post-Theatrical Streaming And Satellite Rights Sold For Whopping Price

Mumbai, September 24 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for his big-budget action entertainer Jawan under the direction of Tamil director Atlee. Mumbai, September 24 - Director Ali Abbas Zafar recently revealed in an interview that he has a script for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and he would soon approach for the same. Mumbai, September 22 - Brahmastra is heading for another decent day at the box office on the second Thursday of its box office run as the early estimate suggests around 3.10cr net collections.## The second Thursday collections of Brahmastra will take the entire box office collections of the film to over 230cr net mark in all versions. Exclusive: Brahmastra Sold More Than 1 Million Tickets In Advance For National Cinema Day

Mumbai, 22 Sep 2022: For the first time ever, the Multiplex Association of India celebrates National Cinema Day on 23rd September 2022 and the response is phenomenal. For Brahmastra, it is coming on the 15th day of its release and still, it sold more than a million tickets already for the 3rd Friday. On National Cinema Day, more than 4000 screens have INR 75 ticket rates. ## Not only Brahmastra but other new releases are also selling a good amount of tickets. Chup has crossed 200K numbers for its first day. Together, Avatar re-release and Sita Ramam (Hindi) also crossed 100K numbers. ## With such a good response for Brahmastra, this movie is expected to break Baahubali 2 record for having the highest Hindi net collection for 3rd Friday of all time which is 10.05 cr as of now. The advance booking for Brahmastra already crosses the 10 Cr Gross collection with its advance booking. ## Brahmastra is not only having 6 AM shows in tier 1 and tier 2 cities but also in some tier 3 cities as well and guess what, these are also in fast-filling mode.
