Los Angeles, April 10 - The Keanu Reeves-fronted 4th Chapter of the John Wick franchise has continued its assault at the box office and crossed the $300 million mark globally. It is all set to become the highest-grossing film in the franchise by crossing John Wick 3. ## The spy action thriller film grossed $307 million through 3rd Sunday, including $147 million at the domestic (North America) box office. It is currently the second-biggest film in the John Wick franchise domestically, behind John Wick 3 which scored $171 million in 2019. ## Internationally, the Chad Stahelski-directed flick has been performing better as compared to the domestic market. Shazam Fury Of The Gods Underperforms At The Worldwide Box Office

Los Angeles, March 19 - DC Studios' latest superhero movie, Shazam Fury Of The Gods fails to fly high at the domestic (North America) as well as the overseas box office and fell short of the expectations. ## The sequel to the successful 2019's film opened at number 1 on the domestic opening weekend with $30.5 million, according to Variety. Los Angeles, March 18 - DC Studios' upcoming superhero movie The Flash is getting special treatment ahead of its June 16 release. ## The buzz for this Ezra Miller-fronted flick is at an all-time high and those who have watched it, including DC co-head and filmmaker James Gunn, have called it "probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made". And now, it has received ultimate praise from one of the biggest movie stars in the world, Tom Cruise. ## Tom Cruise is said to be an actor who is very hard to please but even he couldn't stop himself from raving about "The Flash" after reportedly watching it privately. ## According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cruise has seen the movie and loved it so much that he called the movie's director, Andy Muschietti, to rave about it. It is said that the superstar had a meeting with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav in late February 2023, during which Zaslav mentioned how great the movie was. ## After hearing great things from Zaslav about the movie, Cruise wished to see it Zaslav acquiesced to the request, and a copy of the movie was sent over to Cruise. THR reports that the actor watched the movie at his home in Beverly Hills and was so taken by what he saw. He then reached out to the director and said something to the effect that Flash is "everything you want in a movie" and "this is the kind of movie we need now".## "The Flash" stars Ezra Miller in the titular role of Barry Allen / The Flash along with Michael Keaton who is returning in the role of Batman. Los Angeles, March 16 - James Gunn has officially lined up Superman: Legacy as his next directorial project, he confirms on social media. ## Gunn has been writing the upcoming DC superhero movie even before he became the co-head of DC Studios in November. Box Office: 'Shazam! Fury Of The Gods' Projection Indicates $80+ Million Worldwide Launch

Los Angeles, March 15 - DC's next superhero flick, Shazam! Fury Of The Gods finally is hitting theaters this Friday after multiple delays due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## Directed by David F. Sandberg, the sequel to Shazam! (2019) will be released in 77 international markets along with domestic this weekend. At the domestic (North America) box office, Shazam 2 will be released at approx. 4300 theaters, and as per the Deadline, it could open between $35 million - $40 million on the opening weekend. ## Internationally, Fury of the Gods will start rolling out from Wednesday to Friday and it is projected to be a $45 million - $50 million offshore start.
