Bollywood actor Faraaz Khan was battling for his life after being diagnosed with a brain infection, has passed away in Bengaluru on Wednesday at the age of 46. His family members, Farhad Abousher and Ahmed Shamoon had started a fundraising campaign to gather funds for his treatment.## "Faraaz was admitted to the emergency ward of Vikram hospital where we found out that he suffered three consecutive seizures due to a herpes infection in his brain that had spread from his chest. Besides, while he suffered from these seizures, he swallowed the mucus and saliva of his cough which entered his lungs and caused pneumonia", the family had said in the statement then.## "The doctors are trying their best to get him out of danger but that will require another 7-10 days of critical care...It has been years since Faraaz has worked in films. Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli To Star With Ishaan Khatter In War Drama 'Pippa'

The makers of the upcoming 1971 war drama movie, Pippa on Thursday have announced the much-awaited star cast which includes Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan in the prominant roles. ## The movie will be directed by Raja Krishna Menon who best known for directing Akshay Kumar starrer, Airlift while Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur will produce it under their respective production banners, RSVP Movies, and Roy Kapur Films. ## Pippa is based on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta's book "The Burning Chaffees". Ishaan Khatter will essay the role of Brigadier Mehta of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron in this movie. Maharashtra Cheif Minister, Uddhav Thackeray commented on the actress Kangana Ranaut and her statements made in the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The Shiv Sena leader spoke at the annual Dussehra rally of the party on Sunday (October 25) and referred to the actor's infamous 'PoK' tweet without taking her name. ## Thackeray defended Mumbai Police and mentioned those 'crying for justice'.
