SS Rajamouli In Talks To Direct Allu Arjun After Mahesh Babu's Film!

Hyderabad, March 16 - Renowned filmmaker, SS Rajamouli has worked with some of the biggest Telugu stars in his nearly 2 decades-long career, and now, he is in talks to add one more Telugu superstar in his celebrated career. ## Rajamouli is currently busy promoting "RRR", which is scheduled to release on April 25th. It stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in prominent roles. After "RRR", the maverick filmmaker with a team with superstar Mahesh Babu for a jungle adventure film that will go on floors next year. It will mark the duo's maiden collaboration. ## According to Pinkvilla, the "Baahubali" director will be directing Allu Arjun after Mahesh Babu's film. It is reported that Rajamouli and his writer father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, have worked on multiple ideas to bring them to the writing-table. While Mahesh Babu's film has been locked and is currently in the scripting stage, the duo also has plans for their immediate next, for which, they are said to be in talks with Icon Star. ## "There's a subject with them that warrants the presence of Allu Arjun, and they have had two to three meetings with the Icon Star already", Pinkvilla reports, adding "This would be the first time when he will work with an actor with an already established Pan India presence. While things are far away, this film is in the front runner of being Rajamouli's next after the Mahesh film". ## Allu Arjun, meanwhile, will soon be starting the second part of his recent blockbuster "Pushpa - The Rise". Titled "Pushpa - The Rule", the film will be directed by Sukumar and will go on floors in April this year. He is also in the talks with multiple filmmakers for his next after "Pushpa 2". ## Rajamouli, on the other hand, will put his complete focus on Mahesh Babu's film after the release of "RRR". Mahesh Babu too has multiple films to shoot before shifting his focus on Rajamouli's film. Box Office: Radhe Shyam First Monday Early Estimates

Hyderabad, March 14 - Prabhas-fronted "Radhe Shyam" has had a very good weekend at the box office but it might find tough to get going from here on. While the reviews for the film are mixed, it is also in stiff competition with the Hindi movie "The Kashmir Files", at the box office. Vivek Agnihotri-directed has become a rage and is blowing away all other movies coming in its way. "Radhe Shyam", directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, has almost finished (surprisingly) at the Hindi box office in just 4 days. The Telugu version is still holding the fort but not enough to win the battle. The period romantic film, after netting Rs. 90 crores in the first weekend for all versions, witnessed a big drop on first Monday for an estimated Rs. 7 crores net (-68%). In Hindi, it scored approx. Rs. 1.50 crores, which is very disappointing. In Telugu, "Radhe Shyam" scored approx. Rs. 5.20 crores on Monday, including Rs. 3.30 crores AP/TG share (estimated). It has crossed Rs. 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office on the second day itself. In India, the period romantic drama film has reached past Rs. 100 crores gross mark, after scoring an estimated Rs. 23 crores net on the first Sunday for all languages, maintaining a good hold from Saturday. Box Office: Radhe Shyam Emerges As The Biggest Indian Opener Of 2022

Hyderabad, March 12 - Prabhas' love affair with the box office continues!## It was a box office bonanza at the Indian box office on Friday when superstar and darling of the fans, Prabhas' "Radhe Shyam" shot up to the biggest opening for an Indian film in 2022. With Rs. 50.30 crores gross on the first day, "Radhe Shyam" has also become the second biggest Indian movie during the covid-19 pandemic, behind only Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise", which grossed a mighty Rs. 52.80 crores in December 2021. ## The Radha Krishna Kumar-directed, as expected, performed significantly well in the Telugu version, grossing Rs. 44.35 crores, including Rs. 37.60 crores in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The AP/TG area-wise gross for the opening day was Rs. 25.68 crores, which is the 11th biggest of all time. It also emerged as the 3rd biggest opener in Nizam with Rs. 10.80 crores gross share.## Apart from Telugu, the second biggest market for "Radhe Shyam" was Hindi, in which it performed lower than expected. The Hindi version contributed approx. Rs. 5.50 crores gross on Friday while other versions grossed approx. 45 lakhs. On the brighter side, "Radhe Shyam", scored the 5th biggest opening day in Hindi for a South Indian movie. ## Overseas, the period romantic film spread love all over and minted approx. Rs. 15 crores on the first day, helping worldwide cume to reach a super Rs. 65.30 crores. Prabhas Explained Why He Has Signed So Many Films

Hyderabad, March 8 - The long wait for Prabhas' fans is coming to an end as his "Radhe Shyam" is finally releasing this Friday (March 11) in theaters. The period romantic film, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, was originally slated for 2021 release, but the covid-19 pandemic forced makers to change their plans like most other movies. ## Meanwhile, Prabhas made full use of the free time he got in the last two years, thanks to the pandemic. During the said period, the "Saaho" signed films after films that appeal to global audiences. He is one of the actors who like to finish one film before moving on to the next. But the pandemic made him work on multiple projects simultaneously to keep the fans entertaining once things turn normal. ## During a recent interview while promoting "Radhe Shyam", Prabhas explained the reason behind taking multiple films simultaneously. Being one of the fan favorites and called 'darling' by his well-wishers, the "Baahubali" star said that he loves to entertain his fans continously which is the main reason behind signing so many films. ## "I have signed many films for a reason. In the last 3 years, I have not had a release. My fans have been waiting to see me in multiple films. It's a payback time. I will treat them to big entertainers continuously. I owe to them. So, I have decided to have multiple releases", said the actor. ## ICYDK, Prabhas currently has five films under development at various stages of production, apart from "Radhe Shyam". It also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles. Then he has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Spirit", in which he will play a cop for the first time in his career. Hyderabad, March 6 - The fear of losing big money due to low ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh has come out true as the Telugu movie, "Bheemla Nayak", starring superstar Pawan Kalyan, has dropped massively in the second weekend. Directed by Sagar K Chandra, the action drama film showed growth over the second weekend, but overall numbers remain on the lower side. With an estimated Rs. 5.58 crores in the 2nd weekend, the total domestic net total of "Bheemla Nayak" reaches Rs. 109.88 crores. However, despite the low second weekend, "Bheemla Nayak" crosses the lifetime domestic total of Pawan Kalyan's last film "Vakeel Saab", which had grossed Rs. 127.30 crores (Rs. 109.55 crores net) during its entire box office. "Bheemla Nayak" had already overtaken the worldwide total of "Vakeel Saab" (Rs. 137.5 crores). Overseas, "Bheemla Nayak" has so far grossed approx. It has been more than 2 years since Prabhas' last film "Saaho" was released in theaters, and in between, a lot has happened all over the world.
