Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' and Prabhas-Fronted 'Salaar' Theatrical Run Time Revealed
Mumbai, August 16 - The month of August 2024 has proved to be a game changer for Indian cinema as Independence Day week delivered once-in-a-lifetime box office results, led by Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, Rajinikanth's Jailer, and Akshay Kumar's OMG 2. ## The juggernaut of the aforementioned films is expected to continue for the next few weeks before two of the highly-anticipated pan-Indian movies, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Prabhas-fronted Salaar Part One - Ceasefire join the party in the month of September. ## Jawan, which marks SRK's maiden collaboration with Tamil director Atlee, is easily the most hyped Bollywood-origin Pan-Indian movie and it is expected to carry the momentum at the box office. There are still more than three weeks before it storms the big screens all over again.## Meanwhile, the advance booking of the film has commenced in some international markets, including in the USA and UAE. The movie has been certified with a "U/A" certificate with the approved runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes by CBFC. Earlier, one of the cinemas in UAE listed the movie with 3 hours runtime. It is scheduled to release on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.## Three weeks after Jawan, there will be a hugely anticipated Salaar on September 28. The first-time collaboration of Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel is catching eyeballs and it is easily the biggest Pan-Indian movie of the year. It has been shot in Telugu and Kannada, and will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.## Meanwhile, Salaar will also reportedly be a lengthy film. As per the rumors going on across social media, the movie's runtime is close to 3 hours, which is 12 minutes more than Neel's last blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 with Yash in the lead.
