Prabhas' Film With Director Siddharth Anand Shelved

Hyderabad, May 6 - Over the last few years, it has been reported that superstar Prabhas would be teaming up with director Siddharth Anand for a big-budget action entertainer. Mythri Movie Makers was on board to bankroll the project and even reportedly gave advances to Anand for the same. ## While the fans were excited about this blockbuster collaboration, things didn't work out to take the movie on floors due to the covid-19 pandemic and other commitments of both Prabhas and Siddharth. And now, the latest reports have confirmed that the movie in question has been shelved. ## According to Pinkvilla, Siddharth Anand has refunded the advances he took for the movie to Mythri Movie Makers. Since both Prabhas and Siddharth are busy with their ongoing projects, it was not possible for them to match their dates which eventually forced the makers to put the movie on hold. ## The report further states that conversations on this Prabhas and Siddharth Anand film might take off again once both of them are relatively free which will take at least two to three years as both have multiple films in the pipeline. ## Prabhas is currently gearing up for the release of Om Raut's directed "Adipurush" which is slated for June 16, followed by Prashanth Neel's "Salaar" on September 28 this year. He also has Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic "Project K" and Maruthi's "Raja Deluxe" currently in production and both will be released in 2024. ## Apart from the aforementioned films, Prabhas will headline Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Spirit" and the shoot for the same is expected to commence by the end of this year. He will also reunite with Neel for a mythology film called "Raavanam" which will be produced by Dil Raju. ## Siddharth Anand, on the other hand, currently directing Hrithik Roshan's "Fighter" which is gearing up for January 2024 release and his next will be "Tiger vs Pathaan" featuring superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Mumbai, May 1 - Director Sudipto Sen's drama film The Kerala Story, which is scheduled to release on May 5, 2023, has overtaken Shah Rukh Khan-fronted actioner Jawan as the most anticipated new Indian movie, as per IMDb. ## "The Kerala Story" follows the story of a group of women from Kerala who are converted to Islam and join the extremist Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Mumbai, April 30 - Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has shown much-needed growth on the second Sunday of its box office run as the early estimate collections suggest 4.25-4.50 crores net which is a fair number, especially for a film that has not been liked by the audiences. The growth has come mainly in the core mass belts of Hindi circuits where the film has found an appreciation though that is mainly because of the image of Salman Khan. ## The second Sunday box office collections of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will take the total collections of the film to over 100cr net box office mark, depending where actuals lend. The film has taken around 10 days to cross the 100cr net box office mark which is one of the slowest Salman Khan starrers. The 100cr net box office mark is not a benchmark anymore. Salman Khan Confirms A Film With Karan Johar's Dharma Productions

Mumbai, April 29 - Amid the rumors around superstar Salman Khan's next film after Tiger 3, the actor has himself confirmed that producer Karan Johar of Dharma Productions has offered him a film that could be his next. ## During the Aap Ki Adalat episode with anchor Rajat Sharma, Salman was asked if he is doing a film with Karan Johar, to which, the superstar said that Karan recently called him for a film script which he liked and is going to do that.## It has also been reported that "Shershaah" director Vishnuvardhan is attached to direct this mass entertainer. Salman, however, didn't confirm whether Johar's movie will be his immediate next after "Tiger 3" or will be made later on but reports have stated that it will be released on Eid next year, and the shoot for the same will commence soon. ## Salman, meanwhile, also has a film with Sooraj Barjatya titled "Prem Ki Shaadi". On the second Friday, the movie scored an estimated 2-2.50 crores net which is a low number. The second Friday business also confirmed that the film is not going to cross the 100cr mark by the second Saturday, but hopefully, it will be there by Sunday and for that, the film needs to show healthy growth in the next two days. ## The second Friday business of the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will take the entire box office collection of the film to around 92cr net box office mark. She has been brought on board to play the role of Sambhaji Maharaj's wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. ## The movie is primarily about Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire's founder and the great warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. However, it also features an emotional love story between a husband and wife. Sambhaji Raje and his wife jointly held the throne as the emperor. ## Rashmika, who is actively working across multiple industries, was said to be the only choice of the makers for the female lead role and was locked following her look test recently.
