Prabhas' Film With Director Siddharth Anand Shelved
Hyderabad, May 6 - Over the last few years, it has been reported that superstar Prabhas would be teaming up with director Siddharth Anand for a big-budget action entertainer. Mythri Movie Makers was on board to bankroll the project and even reportedly gave advances to Anand for the same. ## While the fans were excited about this blockbuster collaboration, things didn't work out to take the movie on floors due to the covid-19 pandemic and other commitments of both Prabhas and Siddharth. And now, the latest reports have confirmed that the movie in question has been shelved. ## According to Pinkvilla, Siddharth Anand has refunded the advances he took for the movie to Mythri Movie Makers. Since both Prabhas and Siddharth are busy with their ongoing projects, it was not possible for them to match their dates which eventually forced the makers to put the movie on hold. ## The report further states that conversations on this Prabhas and Siddharth Anand film might take off again once both of them are relatively free which will take at least two to three years as both have multiple films in the pipeline. ## Prabhas is currently gearing up for the release of Om Raut's directed "Adipurush" which is slated for June 16, followed by Prashanth Neel's "Salaar" on September 28 this year. He also has Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic "Project K" and Maruthi's "Raja Deluxe" currently in production and both will be released in 2024. ## Apart from the aforementioned films, Prabhas will headline Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Spirit" and the shoot for the same is expected to commence by the end of this year. He will also reunite with Neel for a mythology film called "Raavanam" which will be produced by Dil Raju. ## Siddharth Anand, on the other hand, currently directing Hrithik Roshan's "Fighter" which is gearing up for January 2024 release and his next will be "Tiger vs Pathaan" featuring superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. It will commence filming in January 2024. There are reports that the filmmaker is already planning "Fighter 2" with his team after "Tiger v/s Pathaan". ## Stay tuned...
