Khiladi Fame Meenakshi Chaudhary Roped In For Mahesh Babu's SSMB28!

Hyderabad, October 22 - Former Miss India pageant holder, actress Meenakshi Chaudhary has grabbed the gold and reportedly signed in for Mahesh Babu's film with ace filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas.## The actress, who is winning praise for her debut film Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu, is said to be roped in to play the second female lead. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady opposite Mahesh Babu in SSMB28. He had earlier starred alongside Mahesh Babu in Maharshi, which was a big hit. ## Meenakshi Chaudhary, meanwhile, is currently busy in Ravi Teja's upcoming action crime thriller, Khiladi. She is playing one of the female leads in this Ramesh Varma directorial. The movie is currently under the pre-production stage and will reportedly release in December this year. Chaudhary is also shooting for Hit 2 while her Tamil debut film, Kolai The Film is in the post-production stage.## SSMB28, on the other hand, marks the third collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Trivikram. The blockbuster duo had earlier worked together in Athadu (2005), and Khaleja (2010). SSMB28 will be produced by S. Radha Krishna (Chinababu) under his banner Haarika & Hassine Creations. ## Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for Sarkaru Vaari Paata' alongside Keerthy Suresh in Spain. Hyderabad, October 17 - The last couple of weeks have been quite challenging for actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently announced her separation from Naga Chaitanya and also dealing with social media trolling. However, as they say, the show must go on, the actress has activated her work mode on and signed two Tamil-Telugu bilingual films. ## The announcements of the two films she has signed were made on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra (October 15). Out of the two films, one is with debutant Shantaruban Gnanasekharan. The movie, which is touted to be a breezy and different type of love story, will be backed by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures. ## The second film is said to be a content-driven one, which will be directed by Hari Shankar and Hareesh Narayan and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. The movie is slated to go on floors in November next month while the rest of the cast and crew are being finalized. ## Talking about the film, producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said that it is a unique story penned by Hari Shankar and Hareesh Narayan, who will also be co-directing the film. Hyderabad, October 10 - Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Megastar Chiranjeevi as well as other leading Tollywood actors including Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Ram Charan, among others cast their votes on Sunday (October 10) to elect new office-bearers of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), the apex body of the Telugu film industry. ## MAA members were voting to elect a 26-member executive comprising the president, general secretary, two joint secretaries, treasurer, and 18 committee members. Actor-producer Vishnu Manchu and actor Prakash Raj are the two contenders battling for the post of MAA president. ## Polling, which began at 8 AM at the Jubilee Hills Public School, was progressing smoothly. It was to end at 2 PM but was extended by an hour by the election officer, Krishna Mohan. There are a total of 925 MAA members and out of them, 883 members are eligible to cast their votes. Of them, 665 had cast their ballots. The counting is likely to continue till 8 PM, when the results are slated to be declared.## Retired employees of the Telangana Cooperative Society made elaborate arrangements for the polling in adherence with Covid-19 protocols. As many as 50 policemen and women were deployed as part of the security measures. The two parties have had a friendly camaraderie on the polling day as the two contenders battling for the post of MAA president shook hands and embraced each other to declare that they are all one. ## Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan was one of the first to cast his votes. Talking to reporters, the Jana Sena president declined to name the panel he votes for. He said MAA elections would have no bearing on the friendship between his brother Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu. Pawan said the film industry will not split due to MAA polls.## Megastar and MAA founding president Chiranjeevi said he had cast his vote as per his conscience. He said that whenever the MAA elections were held, the same acrimony was witnessed and called for putting an end to it. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi's brother Naga Babu told reporters that he cast his vote for the Prakash Raj panel. ## Genelia D'Souza, who had been staying away from Telugu films following her marriage to Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh, also came to Hyderabad to cast her vote. Alia Bhatt To Play Female Lead Opposite Jr. NTR In Koratala Siva's NTR30?

Hyderabad, September 15, 2021: Tollywood superstar Jr. NTR is all set to commence filming for his next film in October this year. The Janatha Garage actor will be teaming up with director Koratala Sive for the film, tentatively titled NTR30. ## NTR30 is a pan India movie that will feature actors across different film industries. While the official announcement is yet to be made, according to reports, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt will be reuniting with NTR to play the female lead. This, if happens, will be the second time when Alia and NTR share screen space together. The duo will be seen in SS Rajamouli's upcoming period action drama film, RRR. ## Earlier, the name of Kiara Advani was also surfaced to star opposite Jr. NTR in NTR30. It was reported that Kiara Advani was approached by makers to play the female lead. While nothing is confirmed yet, Kiara's inclusion in NTR30 can not be ruled out as she was reportedly in talks for multiple Telugu movies. ## NTR30 marks the second collaboration between Tollywood young tiger NTR and Siva after their blockbuster, Janatha Garage (2016). The movie will be produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under the banner of Yuva Sudha arts in collaboration with NTR arts. Anirudh has been roped into composing music for the film. ## The movie is expected to be launched in the first week of October.
