On a worldwide basis, these are the most covered mainstream international pro wrestling awards. The awards are based on the time frame from January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021. ## Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega notably won the award for Wrestler of the Year, earning 629 first-place votes. At WWE Elimination Chamber, Big Time Becks will undertake an extreme challenge when she attempts to retain the Raw Women’s Championship against WWE Hall of Famer Lita. ## Lynch is the woman WWE wants in a main event-level match at WrestleMania. Lita getting a match is nice and all, but she's not going to lead a major program ahead of the biggest event of the year. ## Lita is one pioneer female wrestler in WWE who had showcased her ability inside the squared circle, back in her heyday. WWE Elimination Chamber Prediction: Roman Reigns Vs Goldberg, Who Wins?

Elimination Chamber arrives at the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia on Saturday for the final major event ahead of WrestleMania 38. This is a stacked card that includes many big names on the WWE roster and even some members of the WWE Hall of Fame. ## Roman Reigns was originally scheduled to face Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 in April 2020; however, due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic shortly before the event, Reigns pulled out of the match due to his immunocompromised state from past battles with leukaemia. ## Goldberg faced another challenger at that event who defeated him for the title. Two years later on the February 4, 2022, episode of SmackDown, with Reigns now as champion after winning the title at Payback in August 2020, Goldberg appeared and challenged Reigns to a match for the Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber, which was made official. ## Despite the fact that Goldberg is one of the proving dominant forces within WWE, I would still like to go with Reigns retaining his title. Report: Another WWE Top Free Agent Headed To AEW

Buddy Murphy is now Buddy Matthews, but he also might be All Elite according to Fightful Select. ## Matthews has been a free agent since about September and he wasn't quite sure of where he'd land. He's worked a plethora of indies, as well as dates for MLW and NJPW Pro Wrestling, but he hasn't signed anywhere. ## There was growing interest and rumblings about Matthews joining the company in some capacity, with some even hearing that there were creative pitches made, with another source going as far as to say that creative is already decided. ## Several talents in AEW have been told that the working plans is to bring in Buddy Matthews, which has been going around since January. ## Matthews in his first post-WWE interview with Fightful noted that he was very unsure of his future and visa status. A new name has qualified for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. ## As noted, AEW Rampage originally airs on February 18, 2022, at Nashville Municipal Auditorium Nashville, TN, but Following Dynamite on February 16, AEW taped this week's edition of Rampage. ## One of the advertised matches on the card was a qualifying match for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match between Dante Martin and Powerhouse Hobbs. ## Per the spoiler, Powerhouse Hobbs emerged victoriously over Dante Martin. Exact details on what transpired during the match are yet to be known. ## Powerhouse Hobbs is now joined b Keith Lee and Wardlow in the bout that is set to go down on March 6 at AEW Revolution. "The Best in the World" recalled his victory with Jon Moxley last Wednesday, which allows him to choose the date and stipulation of his rematch against MJF. ## To the surprise of fans, Punk pulled a leash and locks out of a gift box for MJF. The latter was speechless when he learned of the challenge that awaits him in the pay-per-view. ## This is quite a match, but MJF will try to get a third win over CM Punk in Orlando next month.
