Here is the full match card and everything you need to know about The 2022 WrestleMania Backlash which will be the 17th Backlash PLE. The event will air on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and will be available to stream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally. ##
It is scheduled to take place on May 8, 2022, at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. It will be the second Backlash held under this name after the previous year's event, thus officially renaming the event series as WrestleMania Backlash. The concept of the event will be based around the backlash from WrestleMania 38. ##
The 2022 event was also confirmed to be held under this name, thus renaming the event series to WrestleMania Backlash. As of writing, WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair is scheduled to defend the title against Ronda Rousey in a "I Quit" Match. ##
Plush, Cody Rhodes takes on Seth Rollins in a WrestleMania 38 rematch and the event also sees a massive Winners Take All match to unify the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship and WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. ##

At WrestleMania Backlash, Ronda Rousey will look to make Charlotte Flair scream “I Quit” when she challenges her for the SmackDown Women’s Title in a highly-anticipated rematch. ##

After making his earth-shattering return to WWE at WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes will once again go head-to-head with “The Visionary” Seth Rollins in a highly anticipated rematch at WrestleMania Backlash. ##

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Drew McIntyre & RK-Bro Vs. Roman Reigns & The Usos ##
On April 29, The Usos and RK-Bro met in the ring to sign the contract for their Tag Team Championship Unification Match at WrestleMania Backlash. Before pen could be put to paper, however, a brawl broke out between the teams after Randy Orton called Jimmy Uso a b*tch. ##
Roman Reigns would come out and join his cousins in the fight, but it wasn't long after that Drew McIntyre hit the ring and chased away The Tribal Chief. Later in the show, Paul Heyman was seen visiting Adam Pearce and telling him to alter the Backlash match to include Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. Though he was hesitant, Pearce would ultimately agree after Heyman threatened to file a complaint with WWE's board. ##
As a result, the Tag Titles will no longer be unified on May 8. Instead, The Bloodline will face RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. ##

Singles Match: AJ Styles vs. Edge--Damian Priest is banned from ringside. ##
AJ Styles will step back into the ring with his WrestleMania 38 opponent in the hopes of disbarring the self-appointed judge Edge. While, Damian Priest is banned from ringside.##

Singles Match: Happy Corbin Vs. Madcap Moss ##
Losing a friendship is no laughing matter and after WrestleMania Backlash there will only be one person left smiling when Happy Corbin and his former right hand man Madcap Moss go toe-to-toe. ##

At WrestleMania Backlash, Bobby Lashley will once again go head-to-head with Omos. At WrestleMania, Bobby Lashley overcame Omos in a hard-fought clash of the titans. Because he left MVP out of the equation, however, his scorned cohort soon aligned himself with The Colossus and took out The All Mighty with a surprise sneak attack. ##
