Mumbai, July 19 - Producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films has shared some exciting news about the future of its horror-comedy universe and also revealed the next movie after Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 which is scheduled to be released on August 15. ## During the trailer launch event of Stree 2 on July 18 in Mumbai, Dinesh Vijan shared fascinating information about what viewers can expect after Stree 2 which is the 5th movie in Maddock Supernatural Universe after Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya.## Speaking about the movie, the filmmaker said, "Stree 2 is like the mother ship. It answers a lot of questions that Stree's first part raised. It also tells you what the connections are". Hyderabad, July 18 - Vyjayanthi Movies' epic sci-fi blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD is marching towards 1000 crores club at the worldwide box office and before reaching the milestone, it has created a new milestone of selling the highest number of tickets on Book My Show. ## The Prabhas-fronted tentpole has so far sold around 12.50 million (1.25 crores) tickets for all days, which is the highest for any movie since the platform started updating hourly trends on its app. It has beaten Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan which sold approximately 1.24 crores of tickets on BMS. ## Including Book My Show sold tickets, Nag Ashwin's directorial movie has sold an estimated 3.30 crores (33 million) tickets in 21 days so far. It has grossed an estimated 708 crores (596 crores net) at the domestic box office so far and is heading towards finishing around 750 crores gross final. ## Kalki 2898 AD is the fifth highest-grossing film in India and the 7th highest-grossing Indian title at the worldwide box office with 970+ crores gross so far. It will enter the 1000 crores worldwide club in the 4th week to become the 7th Indian movie of all time to achieve the milestone.## It is the first film in the planned Kalki universe, starring Prabhas alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, among many others in prominent roles. The movie starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani is nearing 1000 crores worldwide gross which will make it only the 7th Indian movie ever to do so. ## Recently, Prabhas thanked his fans for making Kalki 2898 AD a massive box office success and also expressed gratitude towards his co-stars in the movie. As the movie is still running well in theatres, legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan have shared their joy at the film's success and expressed gratitude for being a part of it. ## "For Prabhas, this may be something of a routine because a lot of his films (Baahubali 2) cross this Rs 1000 crore figure, but for me, I am truly indebted and very grateful to have been made a part of this huge concept called Kalki. Chennai, July 17 - Actor Sivakarthikeyan's much-awaited biographical war action film Amaran, based on the book series, India's Most Fearless by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, has been confirmed to hit the big screens on October 31, 2024, in multiple Indian languages.## Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran is the biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan (played by Sivakarthikeyan), a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment.
