Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' Official Release Date Locked

Chennai, May 19 - Legendary superstar Kamal Haasan's vigilante action Indian 2 will be hitting worldwide cinemas on July 12, 2024, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, the makers have officially confirmed the new date. ## Directed by S. Shankar, Indian 2 was supposed to be released in June but has now been postponed due to the delay in post-production work. It is the sequel to Haasan and Shankar's Indian (1996) which was a huge blockbuster at the box office. ## The new release date of Indian 2 comes with the announcement of the first single which will be out on May 22. It is an Anirudh musical and is expected to set the stage for the film leading to its release date in July. ## Produced by Lyca Productions, the movie stars Kamal Haasan reprising his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption and has an ensemble supporting cast including Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, S. J. NTR 31: Jr. NTR's Next With Prasanth Neel Reportedly Titled 'Dragon'

Hyderabad, May 17 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR and director Prashanth Neel announced their first film together, tentatively named NTR 31, a couple of years ago and since then, it has been one of the most anticipated films among the Pan Indian audiences. ## There hasn't been a concrete development about the film but things are moving in the right direction. Reports say, one more formal announcement of the film will be made on May 20, on the occasion of Jr. NTR's birthday, meanwhile, the title of the film has reportedly been revealed ahead of the big announcement. ## According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film is tentatively titled Dragon which the makers reportedly got from Karan Johar. Dragon was supposed to be the original title of Karan Johar's production venture Brahmastra which was released in 2022. ## "While they (Prashanth Neel and Jr. NTR) got the title Dragon in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, the same was registered with Karan Johar in Hindi. It took a simple two-minute conversation with Karan for him to part ways with the title for Neel and NTR", says the report.## Dragon will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Mumbai, May 16 - Producer Bhushan Kumar has shared an update on a rumoured romantic film featuring Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri who were supposed to headline the third instalment of the Aashiqui franchise which has now been put on hold indefinitely.## After Aashiqui 3 got cancelled, Bhushan Kumar's T-Series confirmed that director Anurag Basu would be working on another film with Kartik and Triptii and now, the filmmaker has confirmed the same and said that it will go on floors in July this year. ## During a recent interview (via Bollywood Hungama), Bhushan Kumar said, "We are not making Aashiqui right now but we are working on another movie which we are starting in July. It'll be directed by Anurag Basu. When we were making Aashiqui 3, it was not working out. So, now we are making another romantic movie which Anurag Dada is directing.
