While this Maddock Films' production venture is going bonkers, there is another potential blockbuster reportedly in the pipeline for the actress. ## According to the report by Times Now, Shraddha Kapoor is set to play the female lead role alongside Hrithik Roshan in the highly-anticipated superhero movie Krrish 4. It is reported that the actress has been in talks for a long time to come on board the film and things are finally falling into place.## Krrish 4 has been on hold for a long time but now it is expected to start rolling next year after Hrithik completes shooting for War 2. Reportedly, Agneepath director Karan Malhotra will direct the 4th instalment of the superhero film franchise while Rakesh Roshan is writing the script. ## Shraddha Kapoor, meanwhile, hasn't officially announced her next film yet. Hrithik Roshan To Feature In Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh's 'Alpha': Report

Mumbai, August 18 - Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe is set to have its first female-led movie, titled Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh in the leading roles. The shoot of the movie has already commenced and it is being directed by The Railway Men fame Shiv Rawail. ## According to the report by Dainik Bhaskar, Hrithik Roshan's character of RAW agent Kabir will also be seen in Alpha and he will play the role of Alia Bhatt's mentor. Hrithik is also shooting for War 2, directed by Ayan Mukherji, with Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani in the leading roles. ## While War 2, which is also a part of YRF's Spy Universe, is scheduled to be released on August 14, 2025, it is not yet clear when will Alpha hit the big screen. War 2, however, is expected to be the next film in the Spy Universe as indicated in the post-credit scene of Tiger 3, released last year.## Meanwhile, the shoot of War 2 is reportedly delayed due to the on-set injury of Jr. NTR who is making his Bollywood debut with this biggie. The filming is now expected to resume in September in Italy where the team will shoot some song sequences. ## Jr. NTR, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of long-awaited Devara: Part 1 which is slated to hit the big screens on September 27. Box Office: 'Stree 2' Scores An Excellent First Saturday (Early Estimates)

Mumbai, August 17 - Amid the struggle of other films, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's horror-comedy Stree 2 is turning out to be an unstoppable force at the box office, already one of the biggest grossers for the talent involved. ## After the sensational first 2 days, the Amar Kaushik's directorial blockbuster scored a huge first Saturday, crossing the 40 crores net mark for the second time in its short run so far. According to the early estimates, Stree 2 scored in the range of 43-45 crores net collection on its third day. ## The film's total collection after three days (including previews) is around 135 crores net, which already makes it the 3rd biggest Bollywood grosser of the year. Stree 2 is expected to breach the 50 crores net mark on Sunday and then follow it with a rocking collection on Monday which is the national holiday due to Raksha Bandhan. ## Considering the trend, Stree 2 is expected to score 215+ crores net over the 5-day opening weekend. Chennai, August 17 - Tamil star Dhanush's action thriller Raayan is all set to premiere digitally after the record-breaking box office performance. The movie is written, directed, and stars Dhanush in the leading role alongside Sundeep Kishan, Selvaraghavan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Dushara Vijayan, among others.## Released on July 26, the A-rated blockbuster is the highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 so far with a worldwide box office collection of around 152 crores gross. The movie has been in theatres for more than three weeks and is now set for its digital release.## Produced by Sun Pictures, Raayan will premiere via Amazon Prime Video on August 23 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada, languages. Box Office: 'Khel Khel Mein' And 'Vedaa' Opening Day Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 15 - Amid the box office juggernaut of Stree 2, Akshay Kumar-fronted comedy drama Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham-starrer action drama Vedaa were battling it out to come second and it is the latter one which won the race by a fair margin.## According to the early estimates, the John Abraham-led scored in the range of 6.50-7 crores net on its opening day. It is a fair opening considering a 3-way clash. It was always going to be difficult for the movie to score due to Stree 2 which was easily the first choice of the moviegoers but Vedaa did decently overcome that challenge.## The occupancy of Vedaa showed improvement throughout the opening day, especially post-noon shows. The opening of the film is above the projections by a decent margin which can be seen as a good sign. The initial word of mouth seems to be mixed and it needs to be seen how it fairs in the coming days.## Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein showed a significant improvement over the actor's last movie Sarfira but the overall opening remained low to the standard of Akshay who has continuously delivered very good starts at the box office.## According to the early estimates, the comedy-drama scored in the range of 5 crores net on its first day which is in sync with projections.
