Vishal and SJ Suryah's 'Mark Antony' Crosses Historic 100 Crores At The Worldwide Box Office
Chennai, October 2 - Tamil actor Vishal and SJ Suryah's science fiction action comedy film Mark Antony has emerged as a surprise blockbuster at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office as it crosses the 100 crores mark. ## "Mark Antony" crossed the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office on its 18th day. The movie currently stands at around 100.25 crores gross, including 19 crores overseas collection. Vishal, who was going through a lean phase with back-to-back flops, scored his first 100 crores movie ever.## Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the movie has scored approximately 60.50 crores in Tamil Nadu, followed by approximately 9.50 crores in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), 6.25 crores in Karnataka, and around 4 crores in Kerala. ## The movie was carrying low buzz before the trailer release but after the trailer release, the buzz increased before the movie received positive reviews from critics as well as favourable audience word of mouth. It is one of the biggest box office hits for a tier-2 Tamil actor-led movie.## Produced by Ayngaran International, the story of the movie revolves around two gangsters, Mark and Antony, who contact through a mobile phone which has an extraordinary ability to travel back in time.
