Pathaan Second Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, February 6 - Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan", after a big second weekend, is sustaining well on its second Monday as collections heading towards the double-digit mark. According to early estimates, the spy actioner scored an estimated around 9-10 crores net, depending on night shows. ## "Pathaan" being a frontloaded film is showing incredible hold on weekdays, keeping the dream of reaching 500 crores net alive. The advance booking collection for Monday was on the lower side but the spot booking remained pretty good, which is expected from a mass blockbuster. ## The second Monday collections of the Siddharth Anand-directed flick will take the total collections to a little over 440 crores net box office mark depending on where the actual second Monday numbers fall. Chennai, February 6 - The blockbuster duo of Thalapathy Vijay and director Atlee coming together once again after 4 years. ## After delivering three blockbusters in the form of "Theri" (2016), "Mersal" (2017), and "Bigil" (2019), the actor-director combo is all set to reunite for the 4th time an action entertainer. According to a Pinkvilla report, the movie will start production in September or October this year. ## It is said that director Atlee has been in talks with Thalapathy about a new film and the actor has okayed the idea. The actor, who was last seen in SS Rajamouli's "RRR", was speaking at the pre-release event of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's "Amigos" on Sunday. ## During the event, Jr. NTR was asked to provide an update about his upcoming film "NTR 30" with director Koratala Siva. Not just in the event, the fans have been trending every day about the film's updates on social media. The superstar said that this is leading to unnecessary pressure on the makers. ## "It is impossible to provide updates almost every day and every hour about upcoming movies. While the actor is taking enough time to start his film with director Koratala Siva, he is keeping everyone interested about the out of the box choices for his upcoming movies. ## According to the latest reports, Tamil director Vetrimaaran has narrated a script to Jr. NTR which he loved it. Though there are not much details available yet, the project in question is said to be a two-part film with the first part will be led by Jr. NTR while Dhanush is believed to be the front-runner for the second part. ## Mythri Movie Makers, the most happening Tollywood production house currently, will reportedly be bankrolling Jr. NTR - Vetrimaaran's film. Mumbai, February 5 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" had a historic second Saturday at the box office as far as the Bollywood industry is concerned. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" scored 23.25 crores net on the second Saturday, which is the second biggest 2nd Saturday of all time for a Bollywood movie. With that, "Pathaan" has crossed 400 crores net mark (all languages) and becomes the first ever Bollywood film to achieve the feat. ## The Hindi version of "Pathaan" has scored 387 crores net, after a strong 22.50 crores on the second Saturday. The movie has now become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever, beating "Dangal" which grossed 374 crores net in the original Hindi version. At the time of writing this piece, "Pathaan" has become has crossed the 400 crores net in the Hindi language alone.## Not just domestically, "Pathaan" is breaking records at the overseas box office as well. It has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie in the USA. It grossed $1.12 million on the second Saturday, pushing total gross collection to $13.40 million in 11 days. It surpassed Aamir Khan's "Dangal" ($12.39 million) to become the biggest Bollywood movie there.## "Pathaan" is also the highest-grossing Indian in Gulf countries. It has grossed approx. $11 million in this circuit in 11 days though it became the biggest Indian movie there in just 9 days, beating "Baahubali 2" ($10.50 million). ## The total worldwide gross collection of "Pathaan" is approx. 781 crores, including approx. 300 crores overseas. Hyderabad, February 5 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan has revealed that he did not get his full remuneration for "Gabbar Singh" which is one of his biggest-ever blockbusters. ## Directed by Harish Shankar, "Gabbar Singh" was the highest-grossing Telugu movie of 2022. The movie is a remake of the 2010 Bollywood film "Dabangg" which was itself a huge hit. "Gabbar Singh" set new benchmarks for commercial cinema. ## Despite turning out to be a hugely profitable venture for the makers, the superstar wasn't paid fully and not what he actually asked for. Speaking about the movie on Balakrishna's Unstoppable (via Track Tollywood), Pawan Kalyan revealed that he received only part of his remuneration. ## Bandla Ganesh produced "Gabbar Singh" under Parameswara Cine Creations. Mumbai, February 4 - Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time at the domestic box office, beating Aamir Khan's all-time blockbuster "Dangal". Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" scored 378.15 crores net, including 364.5 crores net in Hindi alone in 10 days. It has surpassed the "Dangal" lifetime collection of 387 crores in all languages as well as 374 crores in Hindi, as I type this piece, with a total net collection going past 400 crores (401 crores), including approx. 386 crores in Hindi.## As far as the gross collection is concerned, "Dangal" (535 crores) is still ahead of "Pathaan" (454 crores). "Pathaan" has also become the 3rd highest-grossing Hindi film after "Baahubali 2" (510 crores) and "KGF 2" (435 crores). "Pathaan" is certain to beat "KGF 2" in Hindi and it will be interesting to see if it manages to dethrone "Baahubali 2" to become the all-time biggest Hindi grosser.## Produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan" has grossed approx. 730 crores at the worldwide box office.
