Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull has one of the most successful film franchises in Bollywood with a 100% success ratio. ## The first 4 Housefull movies have seen actors reprising their roles and now, according to reports, Sajid Nadiadwala has plans to bring all the leading heroes including Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, and Riteish Deshmukh in Housefull 5 that, as per Pinkvilla, will start rolling in the second half of 2023. ## "Sajid Nadiadwala has the plan of bringing an entire universe of his Housefull franchise under one roof ever since the release of Housefull 4. He has been trying to crack a plot that justifies the presence of all the characters and he finally has the plot locked. Hyderabad, October 7 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's political action thriller film Godfather is doing really well after coming from the Holiday release and heading towards a very good first weekend at the domestic box office. ## The Mohan Raja-directed movie that marks Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Telugu debut scores an estimated 9.50-10.50 crores gross, including approx. 80 lakh in Hindi on its third day/first Friday, dropping just around 30% from yesterday. The total domestic gross collection reaches approx. 48 crores in three days. ## In the Telugu states, "Godfather" scores an estimated 5-6 crores Share collection on Friday, which takes the total AP/TG share collection to over 26 crores. The advance booking for tomorrow is good and the opening weekend share collection of the movie is eyeing 40+ crores. ## "Godfather" hasn't had a big release due to the clash with Nagarjuna Akkineni's "The Ghost" which is affecting its business. "The Ghost" has really underperformed in the first three days and this could benefit "Godfather" going forward as it may get more screens until the next big Telugu movie releases.## Meanwhile, at the worldwide box office, "Godfather" has crossed the 50 crores mark including today's collection. Chennai, October 7 - Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan - Part 1 scores excellent second Friday at the domestic box office after registering one of the biggest first weeks for an Indian movie. ## The epic period action drama film had grossed over 321 crores worldwide in the first week and begins the second week with a solid estimated 11-12 crores gross for all languages. The drop from Sunday is approx. 23% which is excellent hold. ## The movie grossed approx. 132 crores in the home state, Tamil Nadu in the first week, and adds another 7-8 crores more on the second Friday. The total gross collection of the movie in the state is approx. 138 crores which are the 5th highest of all time. By the end of the 2nd weekend, the movie will become the second biggest movie in the state, and then the race to become the biggest will start. ## On the other hand, the Kannada blockbuster Kantara is in a rampage mode and starts the second weekend with a solid estimated 5-5.25 crores net. The movie sees a jump of around 5% on the second Friday from yesterday and as compared to the first Friday, the jump is over 120% which is massive. ## Written and directed by Rishab Shetty who also plays the lead role in the movie, "Kantara" scored around 38 crores net collection and with today's estimated total, the next collection reached approx. 43 crores. Hyderabad, October 6 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's political action thriller Godfather has had a fantastic hold at the box office on its second day/first Thursday after a good first day. ## The Mohan Raja-directed film has found appreciation unlike Chiranjeevi's last film "Acharya" which crashed badly on the second day. "Godfather" witnesses an expected drop of just 35% from the first day for an estimated 15-16 crores gross on the second day. ## The movie, which marks Salman Khan's debut in Telugu, grossed approx. 13 crores share in Telugu on the first day, and with a drop of around 35%, it minted an estimated 7-8 share collection. The share collection in the Telugu state has reached about 20 crores in two days. ## The first two days of "Godfather" has given the impression that the movie might have a huge weekend, especially Saturday and Sunday are expected to go bonkers for the movie. The previous record belonged to Kamal Haasan's recently released all-time blockbuster Vikram which grossed £0.881 million (£881K) in its lifetime run. ## "PS-1" took just 6 days to reach 1 million pounds in the UK. Interestingly, "PS-1" is the 43rd highest-grossing Indian film of all-time and the fourth of 2022 to score £1 million in the UK, after the highest-grossing Indian film of 2022 KGF: Chapter 2 (£1.15M), the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of the year, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (£1.03M), and RRR (£1.03M). ## Meanwhile, after breaking the Tamil movie record in the UK, "PS-1" is now on its way to becoming the biggest Tamil grosser in the USA as well.
