Dhanush To Collaborate With Telugu Director Venky Atluri For Another Trilingual Film!

Hyderabad, June 28, 2021: A few days after announcing his Telugu debut with Sekhar Kammula's trilingual movie, Dhanush seems to be getting more interested to work with Telugu directors. The national award-winning actor has reportadly signed his second Telugu movie with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri. ## According to Deccan Chronicle, producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi has been planning to make a trilingual film for a long time and he has found this potential in Dhanush. Nagavamsi feels a trilingual film would do justice to the script, given Dhanush's popularity in the South and in Bollywood. ## It is said that Dhanush has agreed to work on the Atluri film. It will be Karnan actor's second back-to-back trilingual movie, to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, after Sekhar Kammula's film. He already has a Hindi film, Atrangi Re, in the pipeline that is expected to release soon. ## Meanwhile, producer Nagavamsi is already working on the Bollywood remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, and co-producing the Jersey remake, which stars Shahid Kapoor. Mumbai, June 27, 2021: The Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil blockbuster, Vikram Vedha, has been a talk of the town for a long time now. While the original film starred Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan in the lead role, the Hindi remake will be headlined by Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, stepping into the shoes of Sethupathi and Madhavan respectively. ## While the movie is yet to be officially announced, it was reportadly set to go on floors in July 2021. However, according to the latest development, the movie is set to be delayed once again. Due to the covid-19 situation in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the makers have said to be canceled the plan to roll out the film in July in Mumbai. ## According to the reports, the makers are now planning to roll out the film in August this year with the first scheduled to be shot abroad. Pushkar – Gayatri (a husband-wife duo), who helmed the original Vikram Vedha, will also be directing the Hindi remake. It will be produced by the original producer, Y NOT Studios, and co-produced by Plan C Studios. ## The original movie starred R. Madhavan as righteous police officer Vikram while Vijay Sethupathi played the gangster Vedha. The film draws from the ancient lore of Vikram-Betaal, where a wily gangster manages to escape every time a determined cop nabs him, by narrating a new story drawn from his own life. ## Apart from Vikram Vedha, Hrithik will also be doing his digital debut series, The Night Manager for Disney+Hotstar. He also has Sidharth Anand's Fighters which will roll out early next year. After that, he will be doing his ambitious project, Krrish 4, and then, War 2. It took nearly two years for her and the rest of the cast and crew of this biographical crime drama film to complete the filming which had begun on 8th December 2019. The shooting of the film was largely halted by the covid-19 pandemic. ## On Sunday (June 27), Alia Bhatt took to social media and shared the BTS pic, and talked about the heart-wrenching life-changing experience of working on Gangubai Kathiawadi. She also talked about the troubles they faced on the sets of the film. ## "We started shooting Gangubai on the 8th of December 2019 .. and we wrapped the film now 2 years later! This film and set has been through two lock downs.. two cyclones.. director and actor getting covid during the making!!! the troubles the set has faced is another film all together!", Alia wrote on Twitter. ## "But through all that and more.. what I take away is the gigantic, mind blowing, heart wrenching life changing experience! The narrative walks through the life of young Ganga who in no time marks her own territory and becomes Gangubai – a madame in the red light area of Kamathipura. ## Apart from Alia Bhatt, the movie also stars Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, and Seema Pahwa playing pivotal roles, while Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi featured in an extended cameo appearance. It will be directed by Sameer Vidwans and will start rolling later this year with an aim to hit theaters in 2022. ## Apart from Nadiadwala's film, the actor is shooting for Anees Bazmee's "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", which will be wrapped up by August this year. The movie titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha is an epic romantic love story film that will be directed by the National award-winning director, Sameer Vidwans - known for Marathi films like Dhurala, Altun Paltun, among others. ## While the rest of the casting is still underway, it is said that hardworking and talented, Shraddha Kapoor has been finalized to romance Kartik in the film. According to reports, Sajid Nadiadwala has already narrated the film to the actress, and she loved it and agreed to be a part of this beautiful love saga. The paperwork will soon be completed and then she will officially be on board the film. ## It will be the first time when Shraddha and Kartik will be sharing the screen space. While the movie will mainly revolve around Kartik, Shraddha has a very important part to play in it as well. Hyderabad, June 25, 2021: On May 29, the young and talented director Prasanth Varma had announced Tollywood's first-ever original superhero movie, Hanu-Man, on his birthday. The Zombie Reddy had made the announcement and promised to take the Telugu audience into a new cinematic universe with his favorite, superhero genre. ## And now, today on June 25, the movie has been officially launched in Hyderabad with the pooja ceremony. Teja Sajja, who played the lead role in Prasanth Varma's previous directorial, Zombie Reddy, has been cast to play the lead in Hanu-Man as well. ## The fourth directorial film of Varma will be produced by K Niranjan Reddy under his banner Prime Show Entertainment. Naandhi is a crime courtroom drama film, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala. It was released on 19 February this year. ## "Naandhi" follows the life of Surya Prakash (Allari Naresh), an under-trial prisoner who is falsely accused of murder, awaiting judgment. The movie received critical reception and was also a commercially blockbuster. Apart from Allari Naresh, the movie also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a lead role while Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma, and Praveen play supporting roles. ## The Hindi remake will be produced by Ajay Devgn, Dil Raju, Kuldeep Rathore, and Parag Desai. According to Pinkvilla, Kiara has signed a multi-film deal with Shankar including RC15 and Anniyan Hindi remake starring Ranveer Singh. ## It is said that Kiara will be a part of both - RC15 and Anniyan remake. It will be the second time when Kiara will share screen space with Ram Charan while Anniyan Hindi remake will mark her first movie with Ranveer Singh. The character details and shoot schedules have been kept under wraps, however, the Shankar film Ranveer Singh will go on floors sometime next year, only once the work on RC 15 is concluded. ## Apart from these two films, the actress might also star in Shankar's 3rd film. She took to microblogging app, Koo, and said that no one can direct the film, which is titled Emergency, better than her after working on the film for more than a year. ## "Pleased to wear director's hat again, after working on Emergency for more than a year I finally figured no one can direct it better than me. Collaborating with fabulous writer Ritesh Shah, even if it means sacrificing on various acting assignments I am determined to do it, my excitement is high. This is going to be a tremendous journey, my leap to another league #Emergency #Indira", Kangana wrote on Koo. ## Ritesh Shah, who has written films such as Pink, Kahaani, Kahaani 2, D-Day, Rocky Handsome, and others, would write the script of Indira Gandhi's biopic as well. He also wrote Kangana Ranaut's next film, Dhaakad. ## Speaking to Pinkvilla, Kangana added, "Yes. This is going to be my second directorial. Even though I wanted another film, which I am also ready with, as my second directorial. But, it so happened that I was very keen to bring Indira Gandhi's story which has never been brought to screen. I was very eager to bring it to screen. I am very happy to be the director of this film. Looking forward to bringing the iconic story to the silver screen". ## The period film will be mounted on a very big scale, and have actors portraying Sanjay Gandhi, Rajeev Gandhi, Morarji Desai, and Lal Bahadur Shashtri among other prominent figures. Kangana will also be producing the film that will feature Emergency and Operation Blue Star. ## Kangana will next be seen in late actor-politician, Jayalalitha's biopic, titled Thalaivi. It is gearing up for release in theaters in August. She also has Dhaakad and Tejas in the pipeline.## Stay tuned...
