'Adipurush' Telugu States Theatrical Rights Get Sold At Whopping Price

Hyderabad, May 28 - Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" is getting ready to release on June 16 this year amid huge anticipation among fans and trade. The epic drama is expected to be a money spinner for the makers and if reports are to be believed, the Telugu states theatrical rights are already get sold.

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory acquired the Telugu states theatrical rights of "Adipurush" for 185 crores, including GST.

The producer officially confirmed the aforementioned price in a recent interview with Mirchi9 and said that they will also be buying Prabhas' "Spirit" which will be produced by T-Series and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

"Adipurush" has been able to generate huge buzz after the unanimously positive response to the trailers and songs. The advance booking response is also positive for the movie which is expected to open big at the box office on June 16.

Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" is the cinematic adaptation of Ramayana and stars Prabhas as Lord Rama alongside Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman, among others. It is produced by T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations.
