Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari: Chapter 2' Final Worldwide Box Office Collection

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film scored approximately 111 crore gross (92.60 crore net) at the Indian box office, making it the 8th highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year domestically (so far). Overseas too, the film performed exceptionally well, collecting around 34 crore and becoming the 5th biggest Bollywood grosser of the year in international markets.

The spiritual sequel to the historical action film Kesari (2019), Kesari 2 grossed approximately 145 crores at the worldwide box office. The film's subject didn't appeal to the masses, but incredible word of mouth helped it in multiplexes. Currently, it is the highest-grossing Bollywood movie globally.

With approximately 50 lakh tickets sold during its theatrical run, Kesari: Chapter 2 is among the top 10 most-watched Bollywood films of 2025 so far in theatres. While it may not have reached blockbuster status, its strong critical reception and decent commercial returns have made it a notable success or semi-hit in Akshay Kumar's filmography.

Produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films, the film's plot is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, centred around C. Sankaran Nair and the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film stars Akshay Kumar stars Akshay as Nair, who took on the British Empire to reveal the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It also features R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday in key roles.
