Alia Bhatt's 'Darlings' To Be Released On August 5 On Netflix

Mumbai, July 5 - Alia Bhatt's maiden production venture, "Darlings" will start streaming on Netflix on August 5. The Jasmeet K Reen-directed movie stars Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew in prominent roles.

Alia Bhatt took to social media and announced the release date with a teaser that is full of mystery. "It's just a tease Darlings. Arriving 5th August #DarlingsOnNetflix", she wrote.

Produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, and Eternal Sunshine Productions, "Darlings" is a dark comedy that explores the lives of a mother-daughter duo trying to find their place in Mumbai, seeking courage and love in exceptional circumstances while fighting against all odds.

"Darlings" is Alia Bhatt's second direct-to-digital release after "Sadak 2" which was released in 2020 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
