Bell Bottom Review: Critics Welcome Akshay Kumar Starrer With Both Hands

Mumbai, August 18, 2021: And the day is finally here. After dealing with the covid-19 pandemic for nearly two years, Bollywood is all set to welcome the first biggie in form of Akshay Kumar starrer "Bell Bottom", on the big screen. The spy thriller movie, which went through a lot of speculations of its OTT release in the last few months, finally releases in theaters on August 19 worldwide, also in 3D.



Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Bell Bottom is inspired by a real-life hijacking of an Indian Airlines flight in 1984 during Indira Gandhi's tenure as PM of India. Akshay Kumar plays a RAW agent in the film who was sent on a secret mission to rescue the 210 hostages. Bell Bottom is the codename of Akshay in the film. The movie also features Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi, and Adil Hussain in key roles.

On Wednesday (August 18), Bell Bottom producers held a special screening in INOX for the media persons in Surat. It is produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Nikkhil Advani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Monisha Advani under the banners of Pooja Entertainment, and Emmay Entertainment.
