Bhuj Review: Here Is What Moviegoers Are Talking About This Period War Film

Mumbai, August 13, 2021: Ajay Devgn fronted long-awaited, Bhuj: The Pride of India finally premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar on August 13. The period war film directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya has been the talk of the time ever since it has announced.



Set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, it is about the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik (Ajay Devgn), the then in charge of the Bhuj airport who, with his team, reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 women from the local village Madhapar. The film boost with a solid star cast including Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Pranitha Subhash, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, and Ihana Dhillon in key roles.



Bhuj is written by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Raman Kumar, Ritesh Shah, and Pooja Bhavoria while it is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Ginny Khanuja, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Bunny Sanghavi, Vajir Singh, and Abhishek Dudhaiya under the banners of T-Series, Ajay Devgn FFilms, and Select Media Holdings LLP. Upon the release, the film received mixed responses from critics and audiences, with praise towards the performance of Ajay Devgn.
