Blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD' Final Worldwide Box Office Collection

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD was released on June 27 amid huge anticipation and it didn't disappoint by scoring positive reception which was enough for it to set the box office on fire. The movie opened to a historic collection of over 175 crores worldwide and never looked back since then.

Kalki has the biggest opening for an Indian movie of 2024 and the third biggest of all time after RRR and Baahubali. The movie proved to be a sensational blockbuster in the Hindi version which outgrossed its original Telugu version collection.

The movie missed the milestone of 300 crore net collection in Hindi but did well enough to emerge as the third biggest South Indian grosser in the dubbed version after Baahubali 2 and KGF: Chapter 2 with approximately 293 crore net collection. The original Telugu version scored an estimated 287 crore net.

Kalki 2898 AD minted an estimated 646 crore net collection (767 crore gross) which makes it the 4th biggest grosser at the Indian box office. Additionally, the film grossed an estimated 275 crore overseas for a worldwide total of 1042 crores, making it only the 7th Indian title to hit 1000 crore gross globally. It sold approximately 3.64 crore tickets in India in all versions which is the highest for any movie of 2024.
