Blockbuster 'Leo' Final Worldwide Box Office Collection and Records

"Leo" was released on October 19 and emerged as the biggest worldwide opener for a Tamil movie and 5th biggest Indian title ever with 142+ crores gross. The movie remained solid throughout the opening weekend to gross over 356 crores worldwide, and with this, it became Thalapathy Vijay's biggest grosser ever in just 4 days.

Produced by Seven Screen Studio, the latest LCU blockbuster, after the initial burst during the holiday period, slowed down during the weekdays. It picked up decently in the second weekend but the job was already done in the first week itself. "Leo" is now the second biggest Tamil movie of all time, behind only "2.0" and also went on to become the highest-grossing film in Tamil Nadu, surpassing "Ponniyin Selvan - 1".
