Box Office: Drishyam 2 Races Past 300 Crores Gross Worldwide

The suspense thriller, directed by Abhishek Pathak, has performed exceptionally well over the first four weekends and grossed 247.50 crores at the domestic box office. The movie is equally strong in the international markets and has minted 51.50 crores gross through 4th Sunday, pushing the worldwide gross total of "Drishyam 2" to 299.01 crores.

Produced by Panorama Studios in association with Viacom18 Studios, and T-Series, "Drishyam 2" has crossed the 300 crores gross mark on its 25th day. It has become the 3rd Bollywood movie post the covid-19 pandemic to reach the milestone. The last Bollywood movie to hit the target before covid hit the nation was also Ajay Devgn-starrer "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior".

"Drishyam 2" has become the third film for Ajay Devgn to enter the 300 crores club at the worldwide box office, that also includes "Golmaal Again" (308.62 crores) while it is the first for director Abhishek in the prestigious box office club. Overall, it is the 34th Bollywood movie and the 44th Indian film to breach the milestone.
