Box Office: Drishyam 2 Races Past The Milestone of 200 Crores Net
Mumbai, December 10 - Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2 has turned out to be a massive blockbuster and a big money spinner for the makers. The suspense thriller is nearing 300 crores at the worldwide box office, which will make it the 3rd Bollywood movie post the covid-19 pandemic to achieve the milestone.

Meanwhile, at the time of writing this piece, the Abhishek Pathak's directorial has crossed the 200 crores net mark and becomes only the 3rd Bollywood film since Devgn's "Tanhaji" (2020) to reach the milestone. Overall, "Drishyam 2" is the 26th outright Hindi film to reach 200 crores net, and 3rd for Ajay Devgn (excluding cameos).

The sequel to the 2015's movie and a remake of Mohanlal's "Drishyam 2" (2021), the Ajay Devgn-starrer is continuing its rock solid. It reaches the double-century mark in 23 days, which is quite an incredible achievement in post-pandemic times.

As far as the overall Indian box office is concerned, "Drishyam 2" is the 8th biggest net earner Indian movie of 2022 and the 5th biggest Hindi movie, which also includes "KGF: Chapter 2" (435 crores), and "RRR" (266 crores).

The movie is produced by Panorama Studios in association with Viacom18 Studios and T-Series. It also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, and Ishita Dutta, among others in key roles.
