Box Office: 'Dunki' First Saturday/Third Day Early Estimates
Mumbai, December 23 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani's maiden collaboration Dunki has had a good start at the box office, scoring close to 50 crores net in the first days. The film witnessed a good hold, dropping around 30% on its second day.



The social dramedy witnessed an upward trend on its first Saturday as collection jumped by around 30% today which is a good sign. According to early estimates, Dunki scored around 26 crores net on its third day, pushing its total collection to around 75 crores after the first 3 days.



The business of film continues to be dominated by multiplexes while mass centres are not coming on the same level, which is expected because of its social comedy genre, plus, a mass entertainer like Salaar is playing in theatres.



Dunki will be hitting 100 crores net by tomorrow in 4 days and will get the benefit of the Christmas holiday on Monday. The Tuesday biz will be crucial but the movie is expected to hold decently leading to New Year's weekend. However, as said, it is not the film which is expected to do 400,500 crores net business but how far it can remain to see.
