Box Office: Laapataa Ladies Crosses 20 Crore India Net Collection
Mumbai, May 31 - Aamir Khan's production venture Laapataa Ladies has shown incredible consistency at the box office on the lower levels since its digital release and has crossed the 20 crores net mark which once looked like a pipe dream.



Directed by Kiran Rao, Laapataa Ladies was made available on the digital platform after 8 weeks and since then it has minted over 2.50 crores net collection by showing an upward trend. The movie has so far minted approximately 20.58 crores net in 13 weeks.



At the worldwide box office, the comedy-drama has grossed approximately 27 crores and can be called an average affair. As said, Laapataa Ladies is already the most-watched Indian movie (direct or indirect) of 2024 on Netflix and proved to be a jackpot for the streamer.



The movie stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam and Ravi Kishan, and tells the story of two young newly-wed brides who get exchanged during a train ride to their husband's homes.
