Box Office: 'Vettaiyan' Second Day/First Friday Early Estimates
Chennai, October 11 - Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama Vettaiyan is heading for a superb first weekend after a very good hold on its second day at the domestic box office. The movie had a very good start with 37 crores gross collection domestically.



On its second day/first Friday, the movie is holding its ground firmly, especially in the home state, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. According to early estimates, Vettaiyan is expected to gross around 18 crores in Tamil Nadu, dropping under 15% which is a good hold.



In Karnataka, the movie is estimated to score around 3 crore gross and the gross collection in the same range is expected at the Kerala box office. In Telugu states, the film is estimated to score 2.25-2.50 crores while in the rest of India market is expected to gross around 75 lakh.



Overall, Vettaiyan is headed for 27-28 crores gross second day at the domestic box office, dropping around 30% which is a good hold. The total India gross collection of the movie after 2 days is around 64+ crores as the opening weekend is expected to be in the range of 115-130 crores gross.
