DD National to re-telecast Shri Krishna and Vishnupuran

In the process of bringing some of the famous entertainment shows of the 80s and 90s, Doordarshan will now re-telecast its famous 90s show 'Shri Krishna' from 3rd May 2020 Daily 9:00 pm and repeat telecast at 9:00 am on DD National Channel, during the lockdown due to coronavirus.



Shri Krishna was one of the most loved entertainment shows in India. Its first episode was broadcasted in 1993 and conclude its 221 long episode runs in 1996. In 1999, the show moved to Zee where the remaining episodes were broadcast.

DD National is also bringing 'Vishnu Puran' on DD Bharati to keep the people entertained during this long lockdown. 'Vishnu Puran' is all set to be re-telecasted on Doordarshan's DD Bharti from May 14 at 7:00 PM every day. The show was originally broadcasted on Zee TV from March 2001 to January 2003 for 78 episodes.



Since the lockdown has happened, Doordarshan is bringing some of its most loved shows and it has brought an unprecedented Television Rating Point (TRP) to the channel. Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayan' recently broked all the records of television history when it became the most-watched entertainment show in the world with 77 M (7.7 Crore) viewership on 16th April. The last episode of Ramayan will telecast on May 2.



Doordarshan is also broadcasting Shaktiman, Mahabharat, Buniyaad, and Chanakya to keep the nation entertained.
