'Deadpool and Wolverine' Opening Weekend Box Office Records

Mumbai, July 31 - It was a record-breaking weekend for Marvel Studios' R-rated superhero comedy Deadpool and Wolverine which is the 34th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not long before, MCU scored the biggest disaster of its history in Brie Larson-fronted The Marvels with just $206 million worldwide.
Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, had a monstrous opening weekend which saw it shattering many records at the domestic and worldwide box office. The third Deadpool instalment grossed mighty $211 million in North America in its 3-day opening weekend and $233 million overseas over the 5-day weekend for a massive $444 million worldwide cume.
