Director Justin Lin Quits 'Fast and Furious 10' Because Of Vin Diesel?
Los Angeles, May 2 - A few days ago, "Fast & Furious" director Justin Lin had walked out from the franchise's next installation, "Fast X", which has already commenced filming. While not giving reasons behind his decision, Lin announced that he will, however, remain involved with the project as a producer.
Production on "Fast 10" started on April 20, with franchise stars Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, and Charlize Theron returning, along with new cast members Brie Larson, Michael Rooker, Jason Momoa, and Daniela Melchior.
Justin Lin directed five "Fast and Furious" movies, beginning with 2006's "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift". His run with the high-octane franchise continued with 2009's "Fast & Furious", 2011's "Fast Five" and 2013's "Fast & Furious 6". His last directorial was 2021's "F9".
"Fast 10" is slated for May 19, 2023, theatrical release.
