Los Angeles, May 2 - A few days ago, "Fast & Furious" director Justin Lin had walked out from the franchise's next installation, "Fast X", which has already commenced filming. While not giving reasons behind his decision, Lin announced that he will, however, remain involved with the project as a producer.## Now, according to nydailynews, Justin Lin quit as director of "Fast & Furious 10" because star Vin Diesel is so difficult. "Diesel shows up late to the set. He doesn't know his lines. And he shows up out of shape. 'Aquaman' Star Jason Momoa To Fight Vin Diesel In 'Fast & Furious 10'

Los Angeles, January 29 - As "Fast and Furious 10" is gearing up to kick start the shoot soon, Vin Diesel looks to have found his counterpart with whom his Dominic Torreto will go head to head in the two-part finale of this high octane actioner.## According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa, in the first major casting for "F10", is set to lock horns with Vin Diesel, his role, however, is not confirmed yet. The actor is reportedly in final negotiations to join the ensemble cast in what is being called "Fast & Furious 10" as a working title. ## While the plot details are yet to be known, the THR report says that Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sung Kang are expected to rejoin the team with Justin Lin returning to direct. Vin Diesel and Lin are producing the film while Universal Pictures working as a distributor. ## Meanwhile, Vin Diesel wanted Dwayne Johnson to join him in the finale of this highly popular action film franchise in the world. Johnson, who appeared in the fifth through eighth films, as well as spinoff Hobbs & Shaw, however, refused to make a comeback over his feud with Diesel.## "Fast & Furious 10" is currently slated for May 19, 2023, release. Universal Pictures Sets A New Release Date For 'Fast & Furious 10'

Los Angeles, December 15 - The next installment of the "Fast and Furious" film franchise has been delayed by a month to May 2023, by Universal Pictures. The 10th and second last film in the long-running ode to fast cars, physics-defying stunts, and family will hit theaters on May 19, 2023, according to Variety. ## "F10" was earlier slated for April 7, 2023, release. The said date will now be taken by an untitled animated film coming from the studio behind Shrek. The move to May puts Fast 10 right at the start of the summer blockbuster movie season.## Fast 10 will serve as the first half of a two-part finale for the Fast and Furious franchise. It was originally announced for the 2021 release but was pushed back after F9 was delayed to this past summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. F9 set several pandemic box office records and grossed over $726 million worldwide, becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of 2021.## Justin Lin, who previously directed on Fast 3 through 6, and F9, will return to direct the film for the last time. Los Angeles, November 10 - With the Fast & Furious film franchise is nearing its end, star and producer Vin Diesel has requested former Fast & Furious co-star Dwayne Johnson to come back for the two-part finale F10 that is in the works. ## In the recent Instagram post, Diesel openly sent a message to Johnson, hoping to put an end to his feud with Johnson, with whom he fell out while collaborating on The Fate of the Furious. Log Angeles, June 20, 2021: The early box office predictions suggesting that Marvel Studios' Black Widow will outscore Universal Pictures' Fast & Furious 9, in the opening domestic weekend. Both movies are due to release on July 9 and June 25 respectively in the US. ## Black Widow and F9 were originally slated for 2020 release but the covid-19 pandemic delayed the releases by a whole year. And now, as theaters begin opening and the box-office starts to back on track with hits like A Quiet Place 2 and Godzilla vs. Kong - Black Widow, and F9 are set to be the biggest hits of the pandemic era. ## The fact that Scarlett Johanson fronted, Black Widow is a two-way release in theaters and on Disney Plus Premier Access for $30 simultaneously as compared to F9, which is an outright theatrical release. Still, Black Widow is expected to win the box office war against the high octane actioner, F9. ## According to Boxoffice Pro, Black Widow is expected to score between $65 million to $90 million in compared to F9's $50-$70 million in the opening weekend. Going by the predictions, Black Widow is set to become the top-grossing opening domestic weekend since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. ## Despite the covid-19 effect, Black Widow's opening weekend projection is already ahead of previous MCU movies such as - The Incredible Hulk ($55 million) and Ant-Man ($57 million). Both Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor opened to $65 million in 2011 and that matches Black Widow's lowest box-office predictions ($65M). If Black Widow opened to the highest projection of $90 million, it would top the opening weekends for Ant-Man and the Wasp ($75 million) as well as Doctor Strange and Thor: The Dark World ($85 million). ## Directed by Cate Shortland, the upcoming prequel is set to showcase the return of Scarlett Johansson as the titular spy. While the plot details are still being kept under wraps, Black Widow has been confirmed to be set in between the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). ## Scarlett Johansson will be joined by Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, and David Harbour in prominant roles along with O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, and Ray Winstone. The early reviews from Black Widow are highly positive as critics are calling it one of the best solo films of Marvel Studios.## Meanwhile, on the other hand, Justin Lin's directorial, F9, has already opened in many international markets including China. It has crossed $200 million at the China box office while the overall collection of F9 is around $300 million. Hollywood Star John Cena Apologizes To China For Calling Taiwan A Country

Los Angeles, May 25, 2021: Hollywood actor and wrestler, John Cena posted a video on Tuesday (May 25) in which he apologized to fans in China for calling Taiwan a country. The "Fast & Furious 9" star referred to Taiwan as a country during a promotional interview of the F9 movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. ## Cena made the Taiwan comment in an interview with the Taiwanese broadcaster TVBS where he reportedly said, "Taiwan is the first country that can watch F9". ICYDK, Beijing considers Taiwan as part of China. Referring to it as a country is often an offensive assertion in China, where matters of sovereignty and territory are passionate issues driven by a strong sense of nationalism.## John Cena joins the long list of celebrities and companies who have previously faced a similar kind of situation and had to apologize for the same. The professional wrestler, Cena posted a video apology in Mandarin on Weibo, a Chinese social network. ## "I made a mistake", Cena said in the video, according to The New York Times (via THR). "Now I have to say one thing which is very, very, very important: I love and respect China and Chinese people. I'm very sorry for my mistakes. Sorry. Sorry. I'm really sorry. You have to understand that I love and respect China and Chinese people".## His remark came when Universal's "Fast & Furious 9" doing wonders in China where it takes the biggest opening for a Hollywood movie during the pandemic era.
