Fahadh Faasil To Make Bollywood Debut With Imtiaz Ali's Love Story

Mumbai, December 5 - Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil is set for his Bollywood debut with director Imtiaz Ali's next film, touted to be an unconventional love story, in line with the genre Imtiaz is popularly known for. Triptii Dimri has been roped in to play the female lead.

According to a report by Peepingmoon.com, Ali and Fahadh Faasil have been discussing the film for quite some time and the project was recently finalized as the actor signed on the dotted lines to officially come on board the film.

"Imtiaz is known for pushing boundaries in love stories, and this one promises to stand out in his repertoire where Triptii’s pairing with Fahadh adds an exciting and unique dimension to this collaboration", says the report adding that Ali is currently finishing the script and aiming to start production in the first quarter of 2025.

The yet-untitled film will be produced by Ali under his banner, Window Seat Films. It will mark the filmmaker's return to the big screen after Love Aaj Kal in 2020. More details about the film will be revealed soon.
