Hombale Films Officially Re-Confirms Release Date of Prabhas-Fronted 'Salaar'

The rumour of the film's postponement left fans disappointed, and they can't be blamed as the makers have been tight-lipped in providing genuine updates regarding the progress of the film. However, despite the not many updates, the shoot of this Prashanth Neel's directorial is believed to be nearing its end.

Now, when the rumours are getting loud, Hombale Films, the production house of the movie, has officially confirmed that the movie will be released on its originally scheduled September 28, 2023. The re-confirmation was made through a video, posted by the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore, which is in partnership with Hombale Films.

This is not the first time that the production studio made the announcement via RCB, but this is the first since the rumors started picking recently which have now been put to rest.

"Salaar" features Prabhas in the title role alongside Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. It is directed by Prashanth Neel, whose last directorial "KGF: Chapter 2" is the 4th highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films has produced this big-budget entertainer which will release on September 28, 2023, in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, languages.
