Hrithik Roshan Announces Krrish 4 With A Short Teaser Video

Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Bollywood superstar, Hrithik Roshan gave an exciting update on the occasion of his blockbuster superhero film "Krrish" clocking fifteen years. The actor took to social media and promised to return as everyone's favorite superhero, Krrish, with the fourth movie in the Krrish franchise.

"The past is done. Let's see what the future brings. #15YearsOfKrrish #Krrish4", Hrithik Roshan wrote on Twitter as a caption of a 13-second video clip that saw him in his superhero avatar throwing the signature mask at the screen.

Written and directed by Hrithik's father, Rakesh Roshan, the first film in the Krrish franchise released in 2003 as Koi Mil Gaya. It was followed by Krrish, which hit theaters in 2006, and then Krrish 3 in 2013. Krrish became a trendsetter in Indian cinema, with visual effects on par with those from Hollywood.

Krrish also starred Priyanka Chopra as the female lead along with Naseeruddin Shah as the antagonist and Rekha. It also won the National Award for Best Special Effects in the 54th National Film Awards.

Krrish follows the story of Krishna, the son of the previous film's protagonist Rohit, who inherits his father's superhuman abilities and assumes the identity of the titular hero in the mask. Hrithik Roshan played the triple characters of Rohit, Krishna, and Krrish in the film.
