Mumbai, July 11 - Akshay Kumar's comedy thriller Housefull 5 has completed five weeks at the box office. Despite the mixed reception, the movie has managed to earn a decent success. It has emerged as the biggest grosser for Akshay Kumar since Sooryavanshi (2021) at the global box office. ## At one point, it looked like Housefull 5 would be able to outgross Sooryavanshi's final worldwide gross of 293 crores, but due to competition and mixed word of mouth, the pace got slow at the box office. It will finish as the second biggest grosser for the superstar in the post-pandemic world, just short of Sooryavanshi at around 290 crores. ## Nonetheless, Housefull 5 has an outside chance to beat Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra's Bajirao Mastani (184.30 crores net) and Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (184.32 crores net) at the domestic box office to enter the top 50 biggest Hindi net grosser list.
